Gree Electric Appliances (ZHUHF) chairperson Dong Mingzhu received an inaugural “Cool Leaders” Individual Leader award from the UNEP Cool Coalition at the 2026 Global Cooling Pledge Assembly in Singapore. The honor cites her role in advancing sustainable, climate-friendly air-conditioning solutions and promoting Gree’s Zero Carbon Source technology. Gree reports over 12,000 projects using this smart energy system and, in 2025, a 30.66% year-on-year cut in greenhouse gas emissions, operation of 22 green factories, and recycling of 8.55 million waste electrical and electronic products.
