The data center is designed for energy and water efficiency, powered by 100% renewable energy, and featuring a Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) of 1.15 and a waterless cooling system.

In addition to the Barcelona data center, MERLIN Properties and Edged have launched a network of waterless, carbon-neutral data centers across the Iberian Peninsula, with operations in Bilbao and Madrid, and plans for a campus in Lisbon.
