How this balance works

Rhea-AI gives every point it takes from this document a weight. Minor counts 1, Moderate 3 and Major 9, so one Major point outweighs several Minor ones. The bar adds up the weights on each side, and when neither side holds more than 65% of the total the balance reads Mixed.

It reads the document as published, with the same rules for every company, and it does not look at what the market expected or at how the stock traded, so a point can be objectively good on a day the stock falls.

Rhea-AI Sentiment measures something else, the tone of the wording.

Recurring revenue financial
"Recurring revenue (comprising subscription and maintenance charges)"
Revenue that a company expects to receive on a regular, predictable basis from ongoing sources such as subscriptions, service contracts, or repeat customer purchases. It matters to investors because it provides steadier cash flow and makes future earnings easier to forecast—like a landlord collecting monthly rent instead of one-off sales—supporting higher valuations and lower risk when those payments are reliable and customers tend to stay.
Adjusted EBITDA financial
"Adjusted EBITDA (non-GAAP) was $24.1 million"
Adjusted EBITDA is a way companies measure how much money they make from their core operations, like running a business, by removing certain costs or income that aren’t part of regular business activities. It helps investors see how well a company is doing without distractions from unusual expenses or gains, making it easier to compare companies or track performance over time.
Free cash flow financial
"Free cash flow, a non-GAAP financial measure"
Free cash flow is the amount of money a company has left over after paying all its expenses and investing in its business, like buying equipment or updating facilities. It shows how much cash is available to reward shareholders, pay down debt, or save for future growth. This helps investors understand if a company is financially healthy and able to grow.
cloud-native technical
"modern, cloud-native ecosystem of software solutions"
Cloud-native describes a way of creating and running applications that are designed specifically to operate smoothly on cloud computing platforms. Think of it as building a house with flexible, lightweight materials that can be easily moved, scaled, or adjusted as needed, rather than using rigid, traditional construction. For investors, it signifies technology that is more adaptable, efficient, and capable of quickly responding to changing market demands.

Subscription revenue increased 32.6% year-over-year and was 71.2% of total recurring revenue compared to 65.5% of total recurring revenue in the second quarter of fiscal 2026.
•
Gross margin was 64.6% in the fiscal 2027 second quarter compared to 61.7% in the comparable prior-year period.
•
Net income in the fiscal 2027 second quarter was $13.2 million, $0.46 per diluted share, compared to $11.7 million, $0.41 per diluted share, in the comparable prior-year period.
•
Adjusted EBITDA (non-GAAP) was $24.1 million compared to $16.4 million in the comparable prior-year period (reconciliation included in financial tables).
•
Adjusted diluted EPS (non-GAAP) was $0.67 per share in the fiscal 2027 second quarter compared to $0.40 per share in the comparable prior-year period (reconciliation included in financial tables).
•
Free cash flow (non-GAAP) in the fiscal 2027 second quarter was $14.8 million compared to free cash flow of $15.0 million in the fiscal 2026 second quarter (reconciliation included in financial tables). Ending cash balance was $137.6 million compared to ending cash balance of $116.9 million as of fiscal 2026 year-end.

Ramesh Srinivasan, President and CEO of Agilysys, commented, “Revenue was a record $93.4 million during Q2 Fiscal 2027, the 19th consecutive record revenue quarter, driven by subscription growth of 32.6%.

Q2 Fiscal 2027 one-time product revenue was higher than expected as the hospitality industry continues to increase its investments in modern point of sale (POS) technology solutions. The industry also continues to move forward in earnest to implement the modern, cloud-native ecosystem of software solutions that allows them to improve operational efficiencies and deliver great guest experiences. Q2 Fiscal 2027 was yet another record sales quarter, the best ever Q2 July to September sales period, keeping total backlog at record levels despite strong implementation and delivery results.

The business continues to grow ahead of our previous expectations. As a result, we are once again raising full fiscal year total annual revenue guidance to now be in the range of $374 million to $378 million, driven among other things, by an increase in subscription revenue growth, now expected to increase by at least 34% year over year. We expect full fiscal year Adjusted EBITDA to be 25% of revenue, higher than the prior expectation of 24%,” Srinivasan concluded.

Fiscal 2027 Outlook

The Company is raising full year subscription revenue growth guidance of at least 32% year-over-year to at least 34% and full year fiscal 2027 total revenue to be $374 million to $378 million. Adjusted EBITDA expectations are also increasing to 25% of revenue for the full fiscal year.

Dave Wood, Chief Financial Officer, commented, “The second quarter of the fiscal year has continued to yield strong results. The teams are continuing to execute at elevated levels across the board, driven by a sustained high level of sales demand

and project implementation velocity. We are pleased to be in a position once again to increase our full year expectations as a result of this continued momentum. The company is well positioned to continue to execute against the current forecasted plan during the second half of the fiscal year.”
