Insights

Planned CAO retirement with structured transition; neutral impact.

American Tower disclosed that CAO Robert J. Meyer intends to retire, with notice given on November 5, 2025. He will stay until a successor is appointed and then support the handoff, with retirement occurring prior to the end of 2026.

This is a standard leadership transition in the finance function. The staged approach helps preserve continuity in accounting controls and reporting while the company conducts an external or internal search.

Actual impact will depend on timing of the appointment and the successor’s onboarding, which the company indicates will occur before the end of 2026. Subsequent filings may provide the effective date and successor details.
