Sentiment and the balance of points

Rhea-AI Sentiment reads the wording of the document, how positive or negative its language is on a 1 to 5 scale. The balance of points shown with the takes weighs what the document actually discloses, so the two can disagree, for example when a trial that missed its main goal is described in upbeat language.

Rhea-AI Filing Summary

Auna S.A. (AUNA) announced a preliminary update to its full-year 2026 outlook. It expects revenue growth to be in line with guidance communicated early in the year, supported by a continued strong recovery in Mexico during the second half. Adjusted EBITDA is now expected to be broadly stable year over year, compared with growth contemplated in prior guidance.

On its second-quarter earnings call, Auna said that, excluding one-time effects primarily related to payor billing penalties associated with reconciliations of prior years’ receivables, full-year Adjusted EBITDA growth was expected at the lower end of the prior 10% to 14% FX-neutral guidance range. A specific payor contract in Colombia has added temporary cost pressure due to an unexpected high incidence of advanced-stage cancer cases in the covered population. Capital expenditures remain within previously communicated guidance of approximately 4.0% of consolidated revenue; free cash flow and leverage continue to evolve favorably. Auna will provide additional details on the contract’s implications for Adjusted EBITDA at its upcoming third-quarter 2026 earnings call.

How this balance works

Rhea-AI gives every point it takes from this document a weight. Minor counts 1, Moderate 3 and Major 9, so one Major point outweighs several Minor ones. The bar adds up the weights on each side, and when neither side holds more than 65% of the total the balance reads Mixed.

It reads the document as published, with the same rules for every company, and it does not look at what the market expected or at how the stock traded, so a point can be objectively good on a day the stock falls.

Rhea-AI Sentiment measures something else, the tone of the wording.

Adjusted EBITDA financial
"consolidated Adjusted EBITDA performance"
Adjusted EBITDA is a way companies measure how much money they make from their core operations, like running a business, by removing certain costs or income that aren’t part of regular business activities. It helps investors see how well a company is doing without distractions from unusual expenses or gains, making it easier to compare companies or track performance over time.
FX-neutral financial
"10% to 14% FX-neutral guidance range"
fx-neutral means presenting financial figures with the effects of changes in currency exchange rates removed, so reported revenue or growth reflects only the company’s underlying operations rather than shifts in foreign-money values. Investors use fx-neutral numbers to compare performance across periods and regions more fairly — like comparing a car’s fuel efficiency after removing differences caused by driving on hills versus flat roads, isolating true performance.
Free Cash Flow financial
"Free Cash Flow and leverage continue to evolve favorably"
Free cash flow is the amount of money a company has left over after paying all its expenses and investing in its business, like buying equipment or updating facilities. It shows how much cash is available to reward shareholders, pay down debt, or save for future growth. This helps investors understand if a company is financially healthy and able to grow.
oncological plans medical
"vertically integrated portfolio of oncological plans"

Auna Announces Preliminary Update to Full-Year 2026 Outlook

Company Will Host Investor Day Today

Luxembourg - October 22, 2026 - Auna S.A. (“Auna” or the “Company”) (NYSE: AUNA), a Latin American healthcare company with operations in Mexico, Peru and Colombia, announced today a preliminary update to its full-year 2026 outlook.

Consistent with the recently disclosed operating KPIs that reflect favorable volume and specialty service trends in the third-quarter of 2026, the Company expects full-year 2026 revenue growth to be in line with the guidance communicated early in the year. The revenue guidance is supported by a continued strong recovery in Mexico during the second half of the year.

During its second-quarter 2026 earnings call, the Company indicated that, excluding one-time effects primarily related to payor billing penalties associated with reconciliations of prior years’ receivables, full-year 2026 Adjusted EBITDA growth was expected to be at the lower end of its previously announced guidance range of 10% to 14% FX-neutral.

Subsequently, a specific payor contract in Colombia has resulted in additional temporary cost pressure due to an unexpected high incidence of advanced-stage cancer cases within the covered population. Accordingly, based on management’s current assessment, the Company now expects consolidated Adjusted EBITDA performance to be broadly stable year over year, compared with the growth contemplated in its previous guidance.

Capital expenditures remain within previously communicated guidance of approximately 4.0% of consolidated revenue, while Free Cash Flow and leverage continue to evolve favorably.

The Company is completing its review of the implications of the aforementioned payor contract on full-year 2026 Adjusted EBITDA and will provide additional details during its upcoming third-quarter 2026 earnings call.
