Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

On October 5, 2026, Jill A. Crager notified Armstrong World Industries, Inc. (the “Company”) of her intent to retire from her position as Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing, effective December 31, 2026. Ms. Crager will retire after 28 years of dedicated service to the Company. The Company will initiate a process for identifying her successor. Ms. Crager intends to remain engaged in leading the Company’s Sales and Marketing teams until the date of her retirement and assisting with the transition of her responsibilities.
