Insights

Braskem outlines a 5-year, related-party utilities contract with capped value and governance safeguards.

Braskem describes a utilities supply agreement with DAC running from January 1, 2026 to December 31, 2030, with a total amount of up to R$97 million. Utilities include electric power, steam, service air, instrument air and clarified water at defined volumes, indicating a structured, ongoing operating relationship between the two Camaçari facilities.

The relationship qualifies as a related-party transaction because Braskem has significant influence over Cetrel S.A., which controls DAC.
