exchangeable subordinate voting shares technical
"class A exchangeable subordinate voting shares (“Exchangeable Shares”)"
Exchangeable subordinate voting shares are a class of stock that can be converted or swapped into another type of share (often common shares) but carry weaker voting rights while still sharing in economic benefits like dividends. Think of them as tickets that can be turned into regular admission passes but with fewer say-so votes; investors care because these shares affect control, potential dilution, voting power and the value you get when they are converted.
Class B multiple voting shares technical
"43,661 class B multiple voting shares"
Class B multiple voting shares are a type of stock that gives each share more votes on corporate decisions—often many times more—than regular shares, allowing a small group of holders to control board elections and major company choices. For investors, these shares matter because they affect who makes strategic decisions and can limit the influence of outside shareholders, which can change the company’s direction, risk profile, and long-term value.
