class A exchangeable subordinate voting shares financial
"shareholders holding 78,311,219 class A exchangeable subordinate voting shares"
Class B multiple voting shares financial
"31,909 class B multiple voting shares (“Class B Shares”), representing 100% of the Corporation’s issued"
Class B multiple voting shares are a type of stock that gives each share more votes on corporate decisions—often many times more—than regular shares, allowing a small group of holders to control board elections and major company choices. For investors, these shares matter because they affect who makes strategic decisions and can limit the influence of outside shareholders, which can change the company’s direction, risk profile, and long-term value.
virtual meeting format financial
"annual meeting of shareholders held on June 24, 2026 in a virtual meeting format"
A virtual meeting format is a gathering held online using video conferencing, webinars, or audio-only conference tools instead of meeting in person. For investors it matters because these formats shape who can attend, how questions are asked and recorded, and how transparently information is shared—think of it as a public company town hall held over a video call, which can broaden participation but also change the dynamics of interaction and oversight.
external auditor financial
"reappoint Deloitte LLP as the external auditor of the Corporation"
An external auditor is an independent, third-party professional who reviews a company’s financial records and reports to confirm they are accurate and follow the rules. Like a home inspector checking a house before you buy, an external auditor gives investors assurance that the numbers reflect reality, which affects trust, the perceived risk of the company, and therefore investment decisions and value.
proxy votes financial
"each director elected at the Meeting also received a majority of the proxy votes cast"
Shares' owners can authorize someone else to cast their ballot at a company meeting when they cannot attend; those authorizations are called proxy votes. Investors use proxies to influence who sits on the board, executive pay, mergers and other decisions that shape a company’s strategy and risk, so proxy voting is a practical way to protect or advance the value of an investment—like asking a trusted neighbor to vote for your street’s plan when you’re away.
