Letter of Intent technical
"entered into a binding Letter of Intent to extend its existing distribution agreement"
A letter of intent is a document that shows an agreement in principle between parties to work towards a future deal or transaction. It outlines their intentions and key terms, acting like a roadmap before a formal contract is signed. For investors, it signals serious interest and helps clarify expectations early in the process.
non-GAAP EPS financial
"fiscal year 2027 non-GAAP EPS guidance"
Non-GAAP EPS is a measure of a company's profit per share that excludes certain expenses or income items that are included in standard accounting reports. It is used by investors to get a clearer picture of the company's core performance, much like removing one-time costs from a personal budget to see regular spending habits. This adjusted figure helps investors compare companies more consistently and understand their ongoing profitability.
IEEPA tariff refund regulatory
"exclude the fiscal year 2026 benefit from IEEPA tariff refund"
A IEEPA tariff refund is the repayment of customs duties or import tariffs that were originally charged under trade measures enacted using the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA). It matters to investors because getting a refund is like reclaiming a past expense: it can increase a company’s cash or reduce its reported cost of goods, and may signal changing government trade policy or successful legal or administrative challenges to the tariffs.
