Rhea-AI Sentiment reads the wording of the document, how positive or negative its language is on a 1 to 5 scale. The balance of points shown with the takes weighs what the document actually discloses, so the two can disagree, for example when a trial that missed its main goal is described in upbeat language.

Sites include Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and Yale School of Medicine in the United States, and Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center and Hadassah Medical Center in Israel.

Filing Explained

The filing incorporates the first three paragraphs of Clearmind’s October 27 press release into its listed Form F-3 and Form S-8 registration statements from the filing date, unless later reports supersede them.

Part B dose cohorts 2 cohorts Sequential single-dose ascending cohorts
First dose cohort 80 mg Part B
Second dose cohort 160 mg Part B
Patients per cohort 6 patients Part B
Phase I/IIa clinical trial medical
"CMND-100 Phase I/IIa clinical trial"
An early-stage clinical study that combines initial safety testing (Phase I) with a first look at whether a treatment shows signs of working in patients (Phase IIa). Investors watch these trials because they move a therapy from lab research toward proof that it can help people; successful results reduce technical risk and can unlock bigger trials, partnerships, regulatory attention, or increases in a company’s value — like a prototype test that determines whether a product should go into full production.
single-dose ascending cohorts medical
"two sequential single-dose ascending cohorts"
pharmacokinetics medical
"safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics"
Pharmacokinetics is the study of how a substance, such as a drug or chemical, moves through and is processed by the body over time. It tracks how it is absorbed, distributed, broken down, and eventually eliminated. For investors, understanding pharmacokinetics helps gauge the effectiveness, safety, and potential risks of new medications or treatments, which can influence a company’s success and valuation in the healthcare industry.
neuroplastogens technical
"non-hallucinogenic psychedelic-derived neuroplastogens"
Neuroplastogens are drugs or molecules designed to boost the brain’s ability to reorganize and form new connections—think of them as medicines that help the brain ‘rewire’ itself after damage or during therapy. Investors watch them because successful neuroplastogens could become treatments for conditions like depression, Alzheimer’s, or brain injury, creating large markets and sharp changes in company value as trials, approvals, or setbacks occur.

Clearmind Successfully Completes Patient Recruitment for the First Alcohol Use Disorder Cohort of its CMND-100 Phase I/IIa Clinical Trial

Milestone advances Clearmind’s clinical program as the company continues to develop CMND-100 as a potential novel therapeutic candidate for alcohol use disorder

Vancouver, Canada, Oct. 27, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Clearmind Medicine Inc. (Nasdaq: CMND) (“Clearmind” or the “Company”), a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company advancing non-hallucinogenic psychedelic-derived neuroplastogens for scalable treatment of neuropsychiatric, metabolic, and addiction disorders including Alcohol Use Disorder (“AUD”), today announced the completion of patient recruitment for the first segment of Part B of its ongoing Phase I/IIa clinical trial evaluating CMND-100 in patients with moderate-to-severe Alcohol Use Disorder (AUD).

Part B marks Clearmind’s first clinical evaluation of CMND-100 in patients diagnosed with AUD, following the successful completion of Part A in healthy volunteers. Part B consists of two sequential single-dose ascending cohorts (80 mg and 160 mg), each consisting of six patients, designed to assess safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, and early signals of clinical efficacy, including potential reductions in alcohol craving.

The trial is being conducted at leading clinical sites in the United States and Israel, including Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, Yale School of Medicine, Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center, and Hadassah Medical Center.

“Completing recruitment for the first portion of Part B marks a significant advancement for our CMND-100 clinical program, as we transition from healthy volunteers to the very patient population we aim to impact,” said Dr. Adi Zuloff-Shani, Chief Executive Officer of Clearmind Medicine. “Building on the safety and tolerability data observed in Part A and the continued support of our clinical partners, we are now positioned to generate the first dedicated clinical dataset evaluating CMND-100 in individuals with AUD- a major milestone toward validating its therapeutic potential in a large and underserved market.”
