Rhea-AI Filing Summary

Dauch Corporation (DCH) announced preliminary third-quarter 2026 results, expecting a net loss attributable to Dauch of $42 million to $47 million and Adjusted EBITDA of $355 million to $360 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2026. These estimates remain subject to change based on completion of Dauch’s closing and review processes and completion of internal control over financial reporting procedures.

For full-year 2026, Dauch expects sales of $10.8 billion to $10.875 billion, including the effects from metal market pass-throughs, compared with its previously announced target of $10.6 billion to $10.8 billion. It adjusted its full-year Adjusted EBITDA target to $1.350 billion to $1.375 billion from $1.360 billion to $1.425 billion as it faces macro headwinds into the fourth quarter, including select customer production volatility, rising inflation and increasing energy costs. The Adjusted free cash flow target range is expected to be narrowed closer to its previously announced midpoint. Updated production outlook assumptions are approximately 15.0 million for North America, 17.2 million for Europe, 31.0 million for China and 91.6 million globally. Adjusted EBITDA and Adjusted free cash flow are non-GAAP measures.

Adjusted EBITDA financial
"Adjusted EBITDA is defined as EBITDA excluding the impact of restructuring"
Adjusted EBITDA is a way companies measure how much money they make from their core operations, like running a business, by removing certain costs or income that aren’t part of regular business activities. It helps investors see how well a company is doing without distractions from unusual expenses or gains, making it easier to compare companies or track performance over time.
Adjusted free cash flow financial
"Adjusted free cash flow is defined as free cash flow excluding the impact"
Adjusted free cash flow is the amount of money a company generates from its operations after accounting for essential expenses and investments, like maintaining or upgrading equipment. It shows how much cash is truly available to grow the business, pay debts, or return to shareholders, helping investors see the company's financial health more clearly.
metal market pass-throughs financial
"includes the effects from metal market pass-throughs"
non-GAAP financial measures financial
"Non-GAAP financial measures are not and should not be considered a substitute"
Non-GAAP financial measures are numbers companies use to show their financial performance that exclude certain expenses or income. They help investors see how the company might perform without one-time costs or other unusual items, giving a different perspective from official reports. However, since they can be adjusted, they don’t always tell the full story and should be looked at alongside standard financial figures.
