HireQuest, Inc. reported modest revenue but sharply higher profitability for the three and six months ended June 30, 2026. Quarterly revenue was $8.1 million versus $7.6 million a year earlier, while net income rose to $2.7 million from $1.1 million. For the first half, revenue was $14.6 million versus $15.1 million, but net income increased to $4.3 million from $2.4 million as selling, general and administrative expenses fell and prior-year acquisition charges did not recur.
The company completed the MRINetwork permanent placement divestiture, recognizing a $248 thousand gain and a new $635 thousand equity-method investment. It generated $1.9 million of operating cash flow from continuing operations, repurchased 226 thousand shares for $2.4 million under a $20 million buyback plan, and paid $0.12 per share in dividends year-to-date. Cash declined to $1.6 million, but HireQuest maintained access to a $50 million revolving credit facility, largely unused apart from letters of credit securing workers’ compensation obligations.
HireQuest, Inc. reported lower revenue but slightly higher profit for the quarter ended March 31, 2026. Total revenue was about $6.5 million, down roughly 12.7% from the prior-year quarter, mainly because MRINetwork permanent-placement assets were divested on January 1, 2026 and no longer contribute royalties or advertising fees.
Despite the revenue decline, net income rose to approximately $1.6 million from $1.4 million, helped by a $248 thousand gain on divestiture and lower operating costs, including expenses removed with the MRINetwork transaction. Diluted earnings per share were $0.11, up from $0.10.
System-wide sales were about $102.6 million, down 13.4%, largely from the MRINetwork divestiture and softer HireQuest Direct activity, partially offset by growth at Snelling and HireQuest. The company generated Adjusted EBITDA of $2.7 million, slightly below last year, and ended the quarter with $1.0 million of cash and access to about $40.3 million under its $50 million credit facility. HireQuest also repurchased 172 thousand shares for approximately $1.9 million and paid a quarterly dividend of $0.06 per share.
HireQuest (HQI) reported Q3 2025 results. Revenue was $8.5 million, down from $9.4 million a year ago, reflecting softer system-wide sales. Net income improved to $2.3 million from a $2.2 million loss, and diluted EPS was $0.16 (basic $0.17) versus a $0.16 loss. The swing to profit was aided by lower impairment charges and a workers’ compensation benefit.
Year to date, revenue was $23.6 million versus $26.5 million, with net income of $4.7 million versus $1.5 million. Franchise royalties were $8.1 million in the quarter; Northbound/MRI/SearchPath and HireQuest Direct saw declines, while Snelling/HireQuest was stable. The company recorded a $230 thousand impairment to the MRI trade name and shortened MRI franchise agreement lives, which will lift annual amortization by about $202 thousand.
HQI ended the quarter with $1.1 million in cash, $2.2 million drawn on its $50 million revolver (matures 2028), and remained in covenant compliance. Operating cash flow for the first nine months was $5.4 million. The Board continued its quarterly dividend at $0.06 per share, paying $844 thousand in Q3. Shares outstanding were 14.1 million as of November 5, 2025.
