Here are the DEF 14A proxy statements from abrdn Australia Equity Fund, Inc. (IAF) in our archive over the last 12 months, newest first, and each one links through to the document itself with the summary and the scores our analysis gives it.
A DEF 14A covers the proxy statement, with executive pay and the shareholder votes, so if you follow IAF and want that one kind of document rather than the whole filing history, this is the page to keep. The company's other filings, of every form, are on the full IAF filings page.
abrdn Asia-Pacific Income Fund (FAX) and abrdn Australia Equity Fund (IAF) are asking shareholders to vote on board matters at 2026 annual meetings. Both meetings are scheduled for May 27, 2026 in Philadelphia, with shareholders of record on April 1, 2026 eligible to vote.
Each fund will vote on Proposal 1 to elect one Class II director to a three-year term ending in 2029. FAX shareholders will vote on the election of Christian Pittard as a Class II director, while IAF shareholders will vote on the election of Radhika Ajmera as a Class II director.
IAF shareholders will also consider Proposal 2, the continuation of Independent Director Moritz Sell’s term under the fund’s Corporate Governance Policies, which require periodic shareholder consideration of long-tenured independent directors. The boards, all with independent chairs and fully independent audit and nominating committees, unanimously recommend voting “FOR” each proposal.
