Kolibri Global Energy well output rises about 55%

The new fracture-stimulation design is producing a different flowback pattern, with peak oil and gas production rates taking longer to develop than on previous Caney wells.

Rhea-AI Filing Summary

Kolibri Global Energy Inc. reported an operations update on wells in its Tishomingo field in Oklahoma. After about three weeks of flowback, its three Clifton Mack wells were producing a combined rate of about 2,100 BOEPD, including about 925 barrels of oil per day; the rate was up about 55% from the prior week. The wells have 97.45%-99.03% WI. Two had recovered just over 15% of fracture-stimulation fluid and one just over 7%. Kolibri said the new stimulation design is producing a different flowback pattern than its previous Caney wells: fluid recovery has been higher, while peak oil and gas production rates are taking longer to achieve. Daily fluid recovery rates had stayed nearly the same.

The Lovina 5-8-1HF well has been fracture stimulated, and flowback is expected to start early next week after the plugs are drilled out. It uses the same design and is Kolibri’s first False Caney test. The company said successful results could add future drilling locations not currently booked and increase reserves. Kolibri also expects additional production and cash flow from these wells; those outcomes are forward-looking statements subject to the assumptions and risks it described.

Filing Explained

Kolibri reports that the Clifton Mack wells’ combined rate was about 2,100 BOEPD, up about 55% from the prior week, but says the increase slowed in the last few days.

BOEPD technical
"about 2,100 barrels of oil equivalent per day (“BOEPD”)"
Barrels of oil equivalent per day (boepd) is a unit that converts all forms of hydrocarbon production—oil, natural gas and liquids—into the energy equivalent of barrels of crude oil and then reports the average output per day. Investors use boepd to compare production scale and growth across companies and projects the way you might compare total calories from different foods: it puts different fuels on a common, easy-to-understand basis for assessing revenue potential and operational efficiency.
WI technical
"The three Clifton Mack wells (97.45%-99.03% WI)"
flowback technical
"have been flowing back fracture stimulation fluid"

KOLIBRI GLOBAL ENERGY INC. ANNOUNCES OPERATIONS UPDATE

Thousand Oaks, CALIFORNIA, October 15, 2026 – Kolibri Global Energy Inc. (the “Company” or “Kolibri”) (TSX: KEI, NASDAQ: KGEI) is pleased to provide an operations update on its latest wells in its Tishomingo field in Oklahoma.

CLIFTON MACK WELLS

The three Clifton Mack wells (97.45%-99.03% WI) have been flowing back fracture stimulation fluid for about three weeks and have continued to show higher production rates. The new fracture stimulation design has resulted in the wells flowing back differently than our previous Caney wells. We have recovered much more of our fracture stimulation fluid in the first three weeks than in previous Caney wells, and the wells continue to have higher frac fluid rates. Two of the wells have recovered just over 15% of the fracture stimulation fluid, and one has recovered just over 7%. The different flowbacks have led to peak oil and gas production rates taking longer to achieve than in our previous wells. The Clifton Mack wells are currently producing at a combined rate of about 2,100 barrels of oil equivalent per day (“BOEPD”) which includes about 925 barrels of oil per day. This BOEPD rate is up about 55% from the prior week, while daily frac fluid recovery rates have stayed nearly the same. While the rate of increase has slowed in the last few days, we believe, based on the current higher daily fracture stimulation fluid recovery, that the wells can continue to clean up and improve further.

LOVINA 5-8-1HF WELL

The Lovina 5-8-1HF well, has been successfully fracture stimulated. Flowback is expected to start early next week after the fracture stimulation plugs are drilled out. This well also incorporated the same new fracture stimulation design used in the Clifton Mack wells.

Wolf Regener, President and CEO, commented, “We are pleased that the flowback rates are remaining high and with the large BOEPD improvement these wells have had in the last week. We are looking forward to seeing how they progress as they continue to clean up.

“I’m also excited that we will be flowing back the fracture stimulation fluid from the Lovina 5-8-1HF well, our first False Caney test, which will hopefully prove up a new bench. Successful results from this well could add many future drilling locations not currently booked, which would increase our reserves and thus value for our shareholders.

“We are looking forward to the additional production and cash flow from all of these wells, which we expect will significantly increase the Company’s cash flow and add incremental value to our shareholders.”
