Insights

Lee shares preliminary Q4 2025 results and a five‑year non‑print sustainability goal.

Lee Enterprises reported preliminary results for the fourth quarter ended September 28, 2025 and released both an earnings news release and detailed presentation materials. These documents frame current performance and are the primary source for the latest financial metrics, although specific figures are contained in the exhibits rather than this summary.

A notable point is the statement that the presentation includes financial figures showing an expectation that the business can be sustainable without reliance on print media within five years. For a legacy newspaper and print-focused company, that emphasis highlights the importance of digital and other non-print revenue streams to its long-term model.

The impact of this shift will ultimately depend on execution and the detailed trends in revenue, margins, and cash flow contained in the news release and slides for the quarter ended September 28, 2025, as well as how those metrics evolve in subsequent earnings periods.
