Item 8.01 Other Events

Centrus Energy Corp. (“Centrus”) announced today that its wholly owned subsidiary, the American Centrifuge Operating, LLC, has produced and delivered to the U.S. Department of Energy (the “Department”) 900 kilograms of High-Assay, Low-Enriched Uranium (“HALEU”) under its contract with the Department. With the successful production and delivery of the 900 kilograms, Centrus has achieved the production target for Phase II of its contract. To date, Centrus has produced and delivered over 920 kilograms of HALEU under its contract with the Department and now proceeds to Phase III of the contract.
