Filing Explained

This 6-K incorporates its contents by reference into Maase’s Form S-8, filed March 11, 2024, and Form F-3, declared effective August 21, 2026, making the appointment disclosure part of both registration statements.

Restricted share units 12,500 restricted share units Granted in connection with the appointment
Vesting schedule Five years Applies to the restricted share units
Relevant experience More than two decades Experience in embedded systems, vehicle electronics, energy storage and related fields
restricted share units financial
"granted 12,500 restricted share units"
Restricted share units (RSUs) are a promise from a company to give an employee or service provider actual shares or cash equal to the shares after certain conditions are met, typically staying with the company for a set time or hitting performance targets. Think of them like a time-locked gift card that becomes usable only after you’ve earned it. For investors, RSUs matter because they align employee incentives with company performance and can increase the number of shares outstanding over time, diluting existing ownership and affecting earnings per share.
battery energy storage systems technical
"including high-power battery energy storage systems"
Large, grid-connected rechargeable battery systems that store electricity for later use, like a giant household battery for cities or power plants. They matter to investors because they help balance supply and demand, enable more renewable energy, reduce outage risk, and create revenue through services such as selling stored power at peak times or participating in grid stability programs, while requiring upfront capital and having performance limits tied to lifespan and degradation.
battery management systems technical
"smart battery management systems"
An electronic control system that monitors and regulates a rechargeable battery pack’s charge, discharge, temperature and individual cells to keep it safe, efficient and long‑lasting. Think of it as a thermostat and traffic controller for a battery: it prevents overheating, evens out imbalances between cells, and ensures the pack delivers expected power and range. Investors care because a better system improves product reliability, reduces warranty and safety risks, and can lower costs or enable higher performance across devices and vehicles.
energy management systems technical
"energy management systems platforms"
Energy management systems are software and hardware setups that monitor, control and optimize how buildings, factories or grids use electricity, heating and fuel, acting like a central thermostat and dashboard for energy flows. For investors they matter because these systems can lower operating costs, reduce downtime and help meet regulatory or sustainability goals—factors that influence a company’s profitability, cash flow predictability and long‑term valuation.
