Masco Corporation reported softer revenue but stronger profitability for the quarter ended June 30, 2026. Net sales were $1,992 million, down 3% year over year, as lower North America volumes outweighed modest International growth and price increases. For the first six months, sales were $3,910 million, up 2%.
Profitability improved significantly. Gross margin expanded to 43.6% from 37.6%, and operating profit rose 14% to $470 million, helped by lower tariff costs, cost savings, higher pricing and about $95 million of IEEPA tariff refunds. Net income attributable to Masco increased to $318 million in the quarter, with diluted EPS of $1.60, up 25%.
Cash generation and capital returns were robust. Operating cash flow reached $417 million in the first half, while the company repurchased and retired approximately 7.8 million shares for $596 million and paid $129 million in dividends. Long‑term debt increased to $3,245 million after drawing a $300 million term loan used for buybacks, and total equity was a $118 million deficit at June 30, 2026. Masco also completed the divestiture of its U.K.-based Bristan Group for £49 million ($65 million), plus up to £6 million ($8 million) contingent on performance.
Masco Corporation reported solid first-quarter 2026 results with higher sales, earnings and ongoing capital returns. Net sales reached $1,918 million, up 6% from a year earlier, driven mainly by higher selling prices across both Plumbing Products and Decorative Architectural Products.
Operating profit rose to $316 million, a 10% increase, lifting operating margin to 16.5%. Net income attributable to Masco grew to $213 million, with diluted income per share rising to $1.05 from $0.87, a 21% gain. Plumbing Products sales grew 9%, while Decorative Architectural Products sales were flat but delivered 18% operating profit growth.
Masco continued returning cash to shareholders, repurchasing about 3.1 million shares for roughly $203 million and paying $0.32 per share in dividends. The company entered a new $1.0 billion revolving credit agreement and a two-year, up to $500 million delayed draw term loan, which it intends to use for additional share repurchases, and expects about $50 million of 2026 restructuring charges tied to cost-saving initiatives.
Masco Corporation reported third‑quarter 2025 results showing softer sales but higher per‑share earnings. Net sales were $1,917 million, down 3% year over year, while operating profit fell 15% to $303 million as gross margin contracted to 34.2% from 36.6% on higher commodity and tariff costs and lower volumes. Diluted EPS rose to $0.90 from $0.77 as the share count declined.
By segment, Plumbing Products grew sales 2% to $1,247 million on higher pricing, while Decorative Architectural Products declined 12% to $670 million, reflecting lower volume and the 2024 Kichler divestiture. For the nine months, operating cash flow was $604 million, supporting $357 million of share repurchases (about 5.1 million shares) and $197 million of dividends. Cash and cash investments were $559 million at September 30, 2025, with long‑term debt of $2,945 million and no borrowings under the $1.0 billion revolving credit facility. Shares outstanding were 207,695,621 as of September 30, 2025.
Management cited weaker demand, elevated input costs, and China‑related tariffs, partly offset by pricing and cost savings. The company remained in covenant compliance and affirmed liquidity to fund near‑term needs.
