Regulation FD regulatory
"Item 7.01. Regulation FD Disclosure."
Regulation FD is a rule that prevents company insiders, like executives, from sharing important information with some people before others get it. It matters because it helps ensure all investors have equal access to key news, making the stock market fairer and reducing chances of insider trading.
emerging growth company regulatory
"Emerging growth company"
An emerging growth company is a recently public or smaller public firm that qualifies for temporary, lighter regulatory and disclosure rules to reduce the cost and effort of being public. For investors, it means the company may provide less historical financial detail and face fewer reporting requirements than larger firms, so it can grow more quickly but also carries higher uncertainty—like buying a promising early-stage product with fewer user reviews.
metallurgical coal financial
"operator and developer of high-quality, low-cost metallurgical coal in southern West Virginia"
Metallurgical coal is a type of coal used primarily to make coke, a porous, carbon-rich material that helps melt iron ore and remove impurities during steel production. Investors watch metallurgical coal because its price and availability track global steel demand and construction activity; think of it as the charcoal that fuels the steel 'barbecue'—shortages or large price swings can squeeze steelmakers' profits and ripple through industries tied to infrastructure and manufacturing.
exploration stage property financial
"The Brook Mine remains an exploration stage property"
rare earth element technical
"one coal mine and rare earth element and other critical mineral exploration stage property"
A rare earth element is one of a set of 17 metallic chemical elements used as essential ingredients in many high-tech products, from smartphones and electric motors to wind turbines and defense systems. Investors care because these metals are critical inputs whose limited, geographically concentrated supply and complex extraction processes can drive price swings and create strategic risks or advantages for companies that mine them or depend on them—like a key spice that can make or break a recipe.
Inline XBRL technical
"Cover Page Interactive Data File (formatted as Inline XBRL and contained in Exhibit 101)"
Inline XBRL is a file format for financial filings that embeds machine-readable data tags directly inside the human-readable report, so the same document can be read by people and parsed by software. For investors it makes extracting, comparing and verifying financial numbers faster and more reliable—like a grocery list where each item also has a barcode—reducing manual errors and speeding up analysis.
