Rhea-AI Filing Summary

Mayfair Gold Corp. (MINE) appointed Daniel Janusauskas, P.Eng., as Vice President, Technical Services, effective November 1, 2026. He will lead the technical services function as the company advances its 100%-owned Fenn-Gib Gold Project toward a construction decision. Janusauskas has more than 15 years of experience in technical services, mine planning, project development and operations.

Mayfair says Fenn-Gib hosts a 4.3-million-ounce indicated gold resource and a 1-million-ounce probable mineral reserve. The 2026 pre-feasibility study outlines C$450 million in initial development capital and a 2.7-year base-case payback, and describes potential cumulative free cash flow of US$896 million over the first six years of production at a US$3,100-per-ounce gold price. Mayfair is advancing permitting, detailed engineering and stakeholder engagement, with goals of starting construction in 2028 and initial production in 2030; it cautions that actual results may vary from forward-looking information.

Indicated gold resource 4.3 million ounces Fenn-Gib
Probable mineral reserve 1 million ounces Fenn-Gib
Initial development capital C$450 million 2026 pre-feasibility study
Base-case payback period 2.7 years 2026 pre-feasibility study
Cumulative free cash flow US$896 million Potential amount over the first six years of production
Gold price US$3,100/oz Price assumption for the stated cumulative free cash flow
Construction target 2028 Company goal
Initial production target 2030 Company goal
indicated mineral resource technical
"4.3-million-ounce indicated mineral resource of gold"
A quantified portion of a mineral deposit where geological evidence and sampling give a reasonable level of confidence in the quantity, grade and continuity of the minerals — think of it as a well-marked stretch on a treasure map rather than a vague hunch. It matters to investors because it provides a credible estimate that can be used for preliminary economic studies and valuation, reducing uncertainty compared with less-certain resource categories.
probable mineral reserve technical
"higher-grade 1-million-ounce probable mineral reserve"
A probable mineral reserve is the portion of a mineral deposit that geologists and engineers judge likely to be economically mineable based on available data and reasonable assumptions about extraction, costs and market conditions; it carries a moderate level of confidence, higher than a resource estimate but lower than a proven reserve. Investors care because it represents the amount of commodity a company can reasonably expect to convert into saleable product—like a cautiously optimistic shopping list that helps estimate future production, revenue and project risk.
pre-Feasibility Study technical
"expected strategy outlined in the 2026 Pre-Feasibility Study"
A pre-feasibility study is an initial assessment that evaluates whether a proposed project or investment idea is worth exploring further. It involves examining basic factors like costs, potential benefits, and possible challenges, similar to conducting a preliminary check before deciding to invest more time and resources. This helps investors determine if pursuing the project further is practical and likely to be successful.
free cash flow financial
"cumulative free cash flow of US$896 million"
Free cash flow is the amount of money a company has left over after paying all its expenses and investing in its business, like buying equipment or updating facilities. It shows how much cash is available to reward shareholders, pay down debt, or save for future growth. This helps investors understand if a company is financially healthy and able to grow.
NI 43-101 regulatory
"NI 43-101 studies"
A Canadian regulatory standard that sets the rules for how mining and exploration companies must report mineral resources and reserves, requiring technical reports prepared or signed off by an independent, certified expert. It matters to investors because it creates a consistent, transparent “inspection report” for mining projects, making it easier to compare prospects, judge the reliability of claims, and assess geological and financial risk before investing.
