"expects to begin closed-area testing of the vehicle in Istanbul"
driver monitoring systems (DMS) technical
"intelligent cockpit solutions with integrated driver monitoring systems (DMS)"
A driver monitoring system (DMS) is an in-vehicle technology that uses cameras and sensors to watch a driver’s face and behavior, detecting signs of distraction, drowsiness, or inattention and prompting alerts or automated responses. Investors care because DMS affects vehicle safety ratings, regulatory compliance, liability risk and consumer appeal—similar to a discreet co‑pilot that can reduce crashes, influence insurance and drive demand for cars with higher-margin safety features.
IoT infrastructure technical
"serviced by proprietary software systems and IoT infrastructure"
IoT infrastructure is the network of physical devices (sensors and smart gadgets), connectivity (wireless or wired networks), and backend systems (data storage and management platforms) that let everyday objects collect, send and act on data. For investors it matters because strong IoT infrastructure enables companies to launch new services, scale recurring revenue, cut costs and create competitive advantages — but it also requires ongoing investment and carries security and reliability risks.
