Every 10-Q that NLI Holdings, Inc. (NL) has filed with the SEC in the last 24 months is listed below, newest first, and each one links through to the document itself with the summary and the scores our analysis gives it.
A 10-Q covers the quarterly report filed between annual reports, so if you follow NL and want that one kind of document rather than the whole filing history, this is the page to keep. The company's other filings, of every form, are on the full NL filings page.
NLI Holdings, Inc. delivered a sharp earnings improvement in 2026. In the second quarter, net sales rose to $43.6 million and net income attributable to NLI stockholders increased to $9.0 million, or $0.18 per share, from $0.3 million, driven by stronger CompX results, positive equity earnings from Kronos Worldwide, Inc., and gains on marketable securities.
For the first six months of 2026, net sales reached $84.2 million and net income attributable to stockholders was $13.3 million, or $0.27 per share. CompX segment profit grew to $16.0 million on higher sales and better margins in both Security Products and Marine Components. NLI’s 31% interest in Kronos contributed higher TiO2 volumes and improved profitability after cost reductions. Environmental remediation accruals stood at about $13 million across roughly 27 sites.
NL Industries reported stronger Q1 2026 results, with net income attributable to NL stockholders rising to $4.3 million (basic and diluted EPS $0.09) from $0.7 million (EPS $0.01) a year earlier. Net sales were broadly flat at $40.6 million versus $40.3 million, but margins improved.
Component-products subsidiary CompX increased segment profit to $7.1 million from $5.9 million, driven by higher gross margin at Security Products and higher Marine Components sales. Equity in Kronos Worldwide swung from a $5.5 million gain to a $1.5 million loss as TiO₂ pricing and margins weakened, but this was more than offset by a $2.7 million unrealized gain on Valhi marketable securities compared with an $8.6 million loss last year.
Operating cash outflow improved significantly to $3.5 million used from $47.5 million used, and cash and restricted cash ended the quarter at $105.4 million. The company paid a higher quarterly dividend of $0.10 per share and continues to carry environmental remediation accruals of about $13.0 million across roughly 27 sites.
NL Industries (NL) reported a third-quarter net loss attributable to stockholders of $7.9 million (basic and diluted EPS $(0.16)), reversing from net income of $36.0 million a year ago. Net sales rose to $39.95 million from $33.67 million, but equity results from affiliate Kronos Worldwide swung to a loss of $11.3 million from earnings of $22.0 million, and marketable equity securities shifted to a small loss.
Year-to-date, NL posted a net loss attributable to stockholders of $6.8 million (EPS $(0.14)) versus net income of $50.7 million in 2024. Operating income improved to $7.8 million for the first nine months from $4.2 million as subsidiary CompX delivered higher sales and margin, with segment profit up 40% to $17.0 million.
Cash and equivalents declined to $101.9 million from $163.2 million. Operating cash flow was $(32.3) million for the first nine months, largely reflecting a $56.1 million payment (plus $0.5 million interest) under a consent decree for the Raritan Bay Slag Superfund Site, partially offset by $9.6 million received from other parties. Accrued environmental liabilities decreased to $13.1 million at quarter end.
