Insights

Routine 8-K attaching ASX buyback disclosures; authorization unchanged at $1 billion.

News Corporation highlights its existing authorization to repurchase up to $1 billion of Class A and Class B shares. The exhibits are the ASX daily reports tied to that program, indicating standard transparency rather than a new capital allocation decision.

The filing emphasizes that any repurchases occur "from time to time" and includes forward‑looking statement qualifiers referencing market price, conditions, laws, and alternatives. Actual buyback pace will depend on those factors, and the document does not specify new execution levels or timing.
