"located in ultra-deep waters off the coast of the state of Amapá"
Ultra-deep waters are ocean areas where oil and gas exploration or production occurs at very great depths—generally around 1,500 meters (about 5,000 feet) or more—requiring specialized rigs and equipment. For investors, these projects matter because they carry higher costs, technical and safety risks, and longer timelines, but can also tap large, hard-to-reach reserves; think of it like constructing a skyscraper instead of a house—bigger payoff but far greater complexity and expense.
abandonment technical
"completion of well operations (abandonment)"
