Rio de Janeiro, August 21, 2026 – Petróleo Brasileiro S.A. – Petrobras informs that it has submitted an expression of interest in exploration blocks located in offshore areas of the Keta Basin, in Ghana, a country on the west coast of Africa.

 

The Ministry of Energy and Green Transition of Ghana has approved the application for the negotiation of exploration contracts in four blocks. With this approval, Petrobras is entering the phase of direct negotiation of the terms of the exploration contracts.
