On February 24, 2026, Christopher J. Klein notified the Board of Directors (the “Board”) of Vontier Corporation (the “Company”) that he has elected to retire from the Board after helping the Company in its spin-off, and he will not stand for re-election as a director at the Company’s 2026 Annual Meeting of Shareholders (the “Annual Meeting”). Mr. Klein will retire from the Board effective on the date of the Annual Meeting. Mr. Klein's decision was not the result of any disagreement with the Company on any matter relating to the Company’s operation and was the natural conclusion of his support in establishing the processes of the new Board after the Company's spin.
