Rhea-AI Filing Summary

Xeris Biopharma Holdings, Inc. reported third-quarter 2026 revenue of $107.2 million, up 44% year over year; Recorlev revenue rose 93% to $71.5 million. Net income was $11.3 million versus $0.6 million a year earlier, and adjusted EBITDA, a non-GAAP measure, was $30.8 million, up $13.3 million. Gvoke revenue was $21.7 million, down 14%; stronger-than-historical back-to-school prescription demand was offset by a one-time $4 million gross-to-net adjustment.

For the first nine months of 2026, revenue rose 37% to $282.5 million. Net loss was $17.6 million versus $10.5 million; the company attributed it to a one-time, non-cash charge of approximately $30.8 million in the second quarter, reflecting the fair-value increase resulting from the 2028 Convertible Notes exchange agreements. Xeris raised 2026 revenue guidance to $395 million–$405 million and its 2030 outlook to more than $1 billion from approximately $750 million. On July 15, 2026, Xeris retired all 2028 Convertible Notes using cash and common stock, eliminating approximately $34 million of debt and $3 million in annual interest expense.

XP-8121’s Phase 3 Cornerstone study is expected to start by year-end 2026, with topline data expected in late 2028. The study is expected to enroll 500 adults and adolescents at more than 50 U.S. sites for 54 weeks.

How this balance works

Rhea-AI gives every point it takes from this document a weight. Minor counts 1, Moderate 3 and Major 9, so one Major point outweighs several Minor ones. The bar adds up the weights on each side, and when neither side holds more than 65% of the total the balance reads Mixed.

It reads the document as published, with the same rules for every company, and it does not look at what the market expected or at how the stock traded, so a point can be objectively good on a day the stock falls.

Rhea-AI Sentiment measures something else, the tone of the wording.

Filing Explained

The October 30 total was 182,700,038 shares, but the release does not specify how many the notes retirement issued.

Form 8-K reports specified material events; here, Xeris furnishes its third-quarter results and says the release is not deemed filed for Section 18 purposes.

At September 30, Xeris reported $131,082 thousand in cash and $189,713 thousand in long-term debt, so the completed July retirement of its 2028 notes did not leave it without long-term debt.

The release says the July 15 retirement used cash and common shares, but gives no transaction-specific share count; it reports 182,700,038 shares outstanding on October 30. Issuing additional shares reduces existing holders' percentage ownership absent offsetting changes, but the reported total does not identify the dilution attributable to the retirement.

"Adjusted EBITDA for the third quarter of 2026 was $30.8 million"
Adjusted EBITDA is a way companies measure how much money they make from their core operations, like running a business, by removing certain costs or income that aren’t part of regular business activities. It helps investors see how well a company is doing without distractions from unusual expenses or gains, making it easier to compare companies or track performance over time.

This type of evidence can influence decision-making by offering insights based on actual, everyday outcomes.
Convertible Senior Notes financial
"8.00% Convertible Senior Notes due 2028"

CHICAGO — November 5, 2026 – Xeris Biopharma Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq: XERS), a leading endocrine and rare disease biopharmaceutical company committed to helping people realize better lives through the development and commercialization of innovative medicines, today announced its financial results and business highlights for the third quarter ended September 30, 2026.

“As a biopharmaceutical leader in endocrine and rare diseases, our strong third quarter performance puts us on a new growth curve that is accelerating our Company’s near-term outlook, and we are now on a path to reach more than $1 billion in total revenue in 2030," said John Shannon, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Xeris. "This new trajectory reflects growth from the full enterprise. Net product revenue in the third quarter grew more than 43% year-over-year, led by Recorlev, where our expanded commercial team moved from build to yield and delivered record referrals and new patient starts. We now see Recorlev on a path to nearly $1 billion in annual net revenue three to four years sooner than previously expected.”

Shannon continued, “We also continued to advance XP-8121 following our comprehensive program overview in September. We remain on track to initiate Cornerstone, our pivotal Phase 3 study, by year-end. Given the strong momentum across Recorlev, Gvoke, and Keveyis, we are raising our full-year total revenue guidance to $395–$405 million.”
