Sentiment and the balance of points

Rhea-AI Sentiment reads the wording of the document, how positive or negative its language is on a 1 to 5 scale. The balance of points shown with the takes weighs what the document actually discloses, so the two can disagree, for example when a trial that missed its main goal is described in upbeat language.

How this balance works

Rhea-AI gives every point it takes from this document a weight. Minor counts 1, Moderate 3 and Major 9, so one Major point outweighs several Minor ones. The bar adds up the weights on each side, and when neither side holds more than 65% of the total the balance reads Mixed.

It reads the document as published, with the same rules for every company, and it does not look at what the market expected or at how the stock traded, so a point can be objectively good on a day the stock falls.

Rhea-AI Sentiment measures something else, the tone of the wording.

LAS VEGAS, Nov. 04, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Asia Broadband Inc. (OTC: AABB) ("AABB" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that its new executive management team is exploring and considering strategic opportunities for operational restructuring and rebranding that would create additional shareholder value and optimize the capital structure of the Company.

Under the direction of the Company's Chief Executive Officer Timothy Gomez and Chief Financial Officer Fernando Ramirez, AABB is looking into several different strategic alternatives that include spin-offs, reverse mergers, business combinations and rebranding of the Company. The intention of implementing these possible initiatives would be to unlock value from the increasing portfolio of precious metals assets, mining operations and technology companies owned by AABB.

The Company is now conducting substantial discussions with third-party entities that could offer the Company the necessary expertise and resources to investigate and implement these initiatives. The Company's management believes that these discussions are an important first step towards the identification of the optimal opportunities to increase the effectiveness of the corporate structure of the Company.

As part of the above-mentioned initiatives, AABB management is considering a possible rebranding of the Company including a new name, new identity and a new trading symbol that would better reflect the transformation of AABB into a precious metals producer and asset developer. Any such changes are of course conditional upon necessary approvals and compliance with regulatory requirements.

This exploratory process of corporate advancement comes on the back of the previously announced $30 million share repurchase program of the Company, reflecting the overall commitment of the management of the Company to enhancing long-term shareholder value.

Management Comment

Commenting on the news, Timothy Gomez, Chief Executive Officer of Asia Broadband Inc., said:

"We realize that our shareholders have shown significant patience with Asia Broadband as the Company continues growing its business and asset base. We also understand that our current market valuation does not reflect our progress.”

"The new management of the Company is committed to exploring every opportunity for improving the Company and creating additional shareholder value. Our new management is already involved in serious discussions with third-party entities in relation to possible corporate restructuring initiatives including spin-offs, reverse mergers and strategic business combinations.

"We are also considering a possible rebranding that would better represent the Company we have become and our future plans. As we prepare for 2027, our goal is to build a stronger corporate identity, more effective capital structure and a foundation for sustainable growth.

"While no decisions have been made yet, we believe that these strategic initiatives could create new opportunities for Asia Broadband and its shareholders."

Looking Forward

All the possible initiatives regarding restructuring and rebranding of the Company are in the discovery and evaluation phase. No definitive agreements have been executed, no proposals for the Company's restructuring and rebranding have been approved yet and no timetable has been set. The Company is focused on the continuing expansion of its precious metals production operations, while exploring strategic opportunities that would benefit the shareholders of the Company.
