Sentiment and the balance of points

Rhea-AI Sentiment reads the wording of the document, how positive or negative its language is on a 1 to 5 scale. The balance of points shown with the takes weighs what the document actually discloses, so the two can disagree, for example when a trial that missed its main goal is described in upbeat language.

Cerenome (Nasdaq: CNSY) secured a national in-network agreement with Aetna for CNSide diagnostic tests, effective November 1, 2026.

The agreement, entered into by wholly owned subsidiary CNSide Diagnostics, establishes contracted reimbursement for cerebrospinal fluid tumor cell counting and molecular profiling tests for solid tumors and hematologic malignancies involving the central nervous system. It is the first national CNSide payer agreement covering both test categories. Aetna adds approximately 26 million medical members, bringing CNSide’s contracted payer footprint to approximately 190 million covered lives. Cerenome intends to pursue similar arrangements across its payer base.

How this balance works

Rhea-AI gives every point it takes from this document a weight. Minor counts 1, Moderate 3 and Major 9, so one Major point outweighs several Minor ones. The bar adds up the weights on each side, and when neither side holds more than 65% of the total the balance reads Mixed.

It reads the document as published, with the same rules for every company, and it does not look at what the market expected or at how the stock traded, so a point can be objectively good on a day the stock falls.

Rhea-AI Sentiment measures something else, the tone of the wording.

Key Terms

cerebrospinal fluid, tumor cell enumeration, molecular profiling, hematologic malignancies
4 terms
cerebrospinal fluid medical
"Cerebrospinal Fluid (CSF) Tumor Cell Enumeration test"
A clear fluid that surrounds and cushions the brain and spinal cord, acting like a protective bath and cleanup system that removes waste and helps circulate nutrients. For investors, cerebrospinal fluid matters because it is a common source of diagnostic markers and a route for delivering or testing neurological drugs; changes in its composition can signal disease or affect a therapy’s development, approval prospects, and market value.
tumor cell enumeration medical
"Cerebrospinal Fluid (CSF) Tumor Cell Enumeration test"
Tumor cell enumeration is the laboratory counting of cancer cells found in a blood sample or tissue, often used to measure how many tumor cells are present or moving through the body. Investors should care because these counts act like a speedometer for a disease — they help indicate whether a therapy is working, how aggressive a cancer is, and can drive demand for diagnostic tests, guiding clinical development and commercial opportunities in oncology.
molecular profiling medical
"include both tumor cell enumeration and molecular profiling"
Molecular profiling is a laboratory analysis that reads a patient’s disease at the level of genes, proteins or other molecules to reveal its specific characteristics—think of it as reading the instruction manual for a tumor or condition. For investors, it matters because the results guide which targeted treatments, diagnostics or tests will be used, shaping clinical demand, regulatory approval paths and potential revenue for companies developing precision medicines and companion tests.
hematologic malignancies medical
"for solid tumors and hematologic malignancies involving the central nervous system"
Hematologic malignancies are types of cancers that start in the blood or the organs responsible for blood production, like the bone marrow and lymph nodes. They matter because they can disrupt normal blood functions, leading to issues like weakness, infections, or abnormal growths, and often require specialized treatments.

Cerenome now contracted with approximately 85% of private payers in the US, representing approximately 190 million covered lives

First national CNSide payer agreement to include both tumor cell enumeration and molecular profiling

HOUSTON, Nov. 04, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- CNSide Diagnostics, LLC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Cerenome, Inc. (Nasdaq: CNSY) (“Cerenome” or the “Company”), announced today that it has entered into a national in-network laboratory ancillary provider agreement with Aetna Health Plans, Inc. (“Aetna”), effective November 1, 2026.

The agreement establishes contracted reimbursement for the CNSide® Cerebrospinal Fluid (CSF) Tumor Cell Enumeration test as well as CNSide® CSF Molecular Profile tests for solid tumors and hematologic malignancies involving the central nervous system. It represents the first national CNSide payer agreement to include both tumor cell enumeration and molecular profiling.

The Aetna agreement adds approximately 26 million medical members to CNSide’s contracted payer footprint. Combined with previously announced payer agreements, CNSide has now established in-network agreements representing approximately 190 million covered lives, reflecting continued execution of the Company’s national reimbursement strategy.

“This national agreement with Aetna represents a new and important milestone in CNSide’s commercial trajectory,” said Marc Hedrick, M.D., Cerenome’s President and Chief Executive Officer. “By expanding contracted reimbursement to now include both tumor cell enumeration and molecular profiling, we intend to pursue similar arrangements across our entire payer base to secure a payment pathway for patients for the most critical diagnostic tests we offer.”

The Aetna agreement provides contracted reimbursement for CNSide® CSF Tumor Cell Enumeration as well as CNSide® CSF Molecular Profile – Solid Tumor and CNSide® CSF Molecular Profile – Hematologic Malignancy. The Molecular Profile tests provide DNA and RNA molecular profiling of CSF for patients with suspected or confirmed primary CNS tumors, solid tumors metastatic to the CNS, and hematologic malignancies involving the CNS.

The DNA and RNA CSF molecular profiling approach underlying CNSide® CSF Molecular Profile was recently evaluated in a peer-reviewed, real-world study of 1,391 evaluable CSF specimens from patients being evaluated for primary CNS tumors, metastatic CNS disease, and hematologic malignancies involving the CNS, published in The Journal of Liquid Biopsy.

The clinical utility of CNSide CSF tumor cell analysis in leptomeningeal metastases is supported by evaluation in 12 peer-reviewed publications, prospective multicenter evidence from the FORESEE clinical study, and real-world clinical experience. Since 2020, more than 11,000 CNSide® tests have been performed at more than 120 U.S. cancer institutions, supporting clinical decision-making across academic and community oncology practices nationwide.
