Contracted reimbursement now includes molecular profiling alongside tumor cell enumeration, adding approximately 6 million covered lives.

Sentiment and the balance of points

Rhea-AI Sentiment reads the wording of the document, how positive or negative its language is on a 1 to 5 scale. The balance of points shown with the takes weighs what the document actually discloses, so the two can disagree, for example when a trial that missed its main goal is described in upbeat language.

Cerenome (CNSY) secured an in-network agreement through its CNSide Diagnostics subsidiary with Florida Blue, effective October 1, 2026. The agreement establishes contracted reimbursement for CNSide cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) tumor cell enumeration and molecular profile tests for solid tumors and blood cancers involving the central nervous system. It is CNSide’s first payer agreement covering both tumor cell enumeration and molecular profiling.

The agreement adds approximately 6 million covered lives, bringing CNSide’s contracted payer footprint to approximately 164 million commercial and Medicare Advantage covered lives. The CSF Molecular Profile tests are now commercially available.

How this balance works

Rhea-AI gives every point it takes from this document a weight. Minor counts 1, Moderate 3 and Major 9, so one Major point outweighs several Minor ones. The bar adds up the weights on each side, and when neither side holds more than 65% of the total the balance reads Mixed.

It reads the document as published, with the same rules for every company, and it does not look at what the market expected or at how the stock traded, so a point can be objectively good on a day the stock falls.

Rhea-AI Sentiment measures something else, the tone of the wording.

Key Terms

cerebrospinal fluid, molecular profiling, leptomeningeal metastases, hematologic malignancies
4 terms
cerebrospinal fluid medical
"Cerebrospinal Fluid (CSF) Tumor Cell Enumeration test"
A clear fluid that surrounds and cushions the brain and spinal cord, acting like a protective bath and cleanup system that removes waste and helps circulate nutrients. For investors, cerebrospinal fluid matters because it is a common source of diagnostic markers and a route for delivering or testing neurological drugs; changes in its composition can signal disease or affect a therapy’s development, approval prospects, and market value.
molecular profiling medical
"DNA and RNA molecular profiling of CSF"
Molecular profiling is a laboratory analysis that reads a patient’s disease at the level of genes, proteins or other molecules to reveal its specific characteristics—think of it as reading the instruction manual for a tumor or condition. For investors, it matters because the results guide which targeted treatments, diagnostics or tests will be used, shaping clinical demand, regulatory approval paths and potential revenue for companies developing precision medicines and companion tests.
leptomeningeal metastases medical
"tumor cell detection in leptomeningeal metastases"
Leptomeningeal metastases occur when cancer cells spread to the thin layers of tissue covering the brain and spinal cord, similar to how weeds can invade the surface layer of soil. This condition often indicates advanced disease and can lead to serious neurological problems. For investors, the presence of such metastases may signal challenges in treatment options and can impact the outlook for related healthcare companies or research developments.
hematologic malignancies medical
"solid tumors and hematologic malignancies involving the central nervous system"
Hematologic malignancies are types of cancers that start in the blood or the organs responsible for blood production, like the bone marrow and lymph nodes. They matter because they can disrupt normal blood functions, leading to issues like weakness, infections, or abnormal growths, and often require specialized treatments.

First CNSide payer agreement to include CNSide’s new CSF Molecular Profile tests alongside tumor cell enumeration

Expands CNSide contracted payer access to approximately 164 million covered lives

HOUSTON, Oct. 08, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- CNSide Diagnostics, LLC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Cerenome, Inc. (Nasdaq: CNSY) (“Cerenome” or the “Company”), announced today that it has entered into an in-network ancillary provider agreement with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Florida, Inc. (Florida Blue), effective October 1, 2026.

The agreement establishes contracted reimbursement for the CNSide® Cerebrospinal Fluid (CSF) Tumor Cell Enumeration test as well as CNSide® CSF Molecular Profile tests for solid tumors and hematologic malignancies involving the central nervous system. It is the first CNSide payer agreement to include both tumor cell enumeration and molecular profiling.

The Florida Blue agreement adds approximately 6 million covered lives to CNSide’s contracted payer footprint. Combined with previously announced payer agreements, CNSide has now established in-network agreements representing approximately 164 million commercial and Medicare Advantage covered lives, reflecting continued execution of the Company’s national reimbursement strategy.

“This agreement with Florida Blue represents an important milestone in CNSide’s commercial trajectory,” said Marc Hedrick, M.D., Cerenome’s President and Chief Executive Officer. “By expanding contracted reimbursement to both cellular and molecular CSF testing, we are advancing CNSide as a broader CSF diagnostics platform for CNS oncology, combining tumor-cell analysis and molecular profiling to better characterize and monitor cancers involving the central nervous system.”

The Florida Blue agreement expands the scope of CNSide’s contracted reimbursement beyond tumor cell detection in leptomeningeal metastases to include molecular profiling of CNS malignancies. CNSide® CSF Molecular Profile - Solid Tumor provides DNA and RNA molecular profiling of CSF for patients with suspected or confirmed primary CNS tumors or solid tumors metastatic to the CNS, including brain and leptomeningeal metastases. CNSide® CSF Molecular Profile - Hematologic Malignancy provides DNA and RNA molecular profiling of CSF for patients with suspected or confirmed hematologic malignancies involving the CNS. CNSide® CSF Molecular Profile tests are now commercially available through CNSide.

The DNA and RNA CSF molecular profiling approach underlying CNSide® CSF Molecular Profile was recently evaluated in a peer-reviewed, real-world study of 1,391 evaluable CSF specimens from patients being evaluated for primary CNS tumors, metastatic CNS disease, and hematologic malignancies involving the CNS, published in The Journal of Liquid Biopsy.

The clinical utility of CNSide CSF tumor cell analysis in leptomeningeal metastases is supported by evaluation in 12 peer-reviewed publications, prospective multicenter evidence from the FORESEE clinical study, and real-world clinical experience. Since 2020, more than 11,000 CNSide® tests have been performed at more than 120 U.S. cancer institutions, supporting clinical decision-making across academic and community oncology practices nationwide.
