Acer, Cathay Cargo, and Dimerco Express Group are collaborating to reduce carbon emissions in aviation through the use of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF). Starting in 2024, Acer and Dimerco will support SAF use on Cathay Cargo flights as part of Acer's net-zero strategy. SAF, made from plant or animal materials, can reduce aviation's greenhouse gas emissions by up to 80%. This initiative is part of Cathay Pacific's Corporate SAF Programme, one of the first of its kind in Asia.
