American EcoFuels (AEFI) appointed Sasa Dzaferovic chief processing officer to guide engineering for its gas-to-liquids and coal-to-liquids fuel programs.
Dzaferovic is expected to oversee process modeling and integration as the company works toward producing consistent liquid hydrocarbon products. American EcoFuels intends to produce enough aviation fuel for comprehensive testing and advancement through the applicable ASTM qualification pathway. Its longer-term supply objective is subject to successful testing, qualification, applicable specifications and customer acceptance. The company also intends to pursue potential offtake relationships as its programs progress.
American EcoFuels (AEFI) appointed veteran engineering executive Jeff Saxinger as Chief Technology Officer on September 22, 2026, to lead development of its proprietary Gas-to-Liquids (GTL) and Coal-to-Liquids (CTL) fuel technologies.
Saxinger, a Professional Engineer with more than 32 years of experience, has led multidisciplinary teams across preliminary engineering, FEED, detailed engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning for gas-processing, fractionation and hydrogen-generation projects. He will support American EcoFuels’ push to produce synthetic aviation fuel (SAF) for ASTM testing and qualification aimed at commercial airlines, aircraft and engine manufacturers, fuel distributors and U.S. military customers. In parallel, Senior Electrical Engineer Travis Yakimishyn will focus more directly on electrical and technical solutions as the company builds an integrated engineering organization from experimental work toward eventual commercial-scale deployment.
American EcoFuels (AEFI) has appointed Samson Lee, John Gerdin and Niclas von Schantz as independent directors to its Board of Directors.
The three additions broaden board experience in public-company governance, international business, corporate finance, capital markets, commercialization, strategic communications and brand development. The company states that the expanded Board will support its next phase of development as it advances synthetic-fuel engineering, regulatory work and long-term commercialization initiatives.
Lee brings governance and technology-commercialization experience across Asian and international markets; Gerdin adds international business development, corporate finance and capital-formation expertise; von Schantz contributes more than 25 years in go-to-market strategy, pricing, partnerships and international brand building.
American EcoFuels (OTC: AEFI) has launched its Phase 2 Patent Plan, an intellectual property expansion program targeting its Gas-to-Liquids (GTL) and Coal-to-Liquids (CTL) technology platforms. The plan currently contemplates the preparation and filing of up to 584 additional patent applications across apparatus, method, continuation and claim-development strategies, to be implemented progressively over time and subject to legal and patent office processes.
The initiative builds on an existing portfolio originally developed within Kepler GTL, including at least four issued U.S. patents on systems for producing Sustainable Aviation Fuel, multiple pending U.S. and international applications, and assignment documentation citing 150 GTL-related and 75 CTL-related patent applications. Management views a broad portfolio as a potential strategic asset for future engineering, testing, certification and commercialization.
In corporate reporting, American EcoFuels is nearing completion of a two‑year PCAOB audit and expects, subject to audit completion and final reviews, to file a Form 10 registration statement with the SEC before the end of the third quarter of 2026.
American EcoFuels (OTC: AEFI), formerly Eco Innovation Group (OTC: ECOX), announced FINRA approval of its corporate name and ticker change, effective June 23, 2026.
The company is focusing on Sustainable Aviation Fuel and gas-to-liquids technologies, nearing completion of a two-year PCAOB audit, preparing a Form 10, advancing an SAF test plant, expanding patents, conducting airline outreach, and pursuing a dual listing on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange.
