epc technical
"a full-service solar EPC firm that completed commercial and utility-scale projects"
An EPC (engineering, procurement and construction) contract is a single agreement where a contractor designs a project, buys the materials and builds it, then hands over a finished, ready-to-use facility—much like hiring a general contractor to deliver a completed house. For investors, EPCs matter because they concentrate responsibility for cost, schedule and delivery with the contractor, affecting a company’s revenue visibility, cash needs and exposure to construction or performance risks.
reit financial
"agreements with investment funds, REITs, and family-owned property companies"
A real estate investment trust (REIT) is a company that owns, operates, or finances income-producing real estate, like shopping centers, apartments, or office buildings. For investors, REITs offer a way to invest in real estate without having to buy property directly, often providing regular income through dividends. They function like a mutual fund for real estate, making it easier for people to add property investments to their portfolio.
six sigma technical
"He is certified in Six Sigma and Lean Operations through GE."
Six Sigma is a disciplined approach to improving business processes by measuring and cutting defects and variability so outputs are nearly perfect; think of tuning a factory line or kitchen to deliver the same high-quality product every time. It matters to investors because reducing mistakes and waste lowers costs, improves efficiency and customer trust, and can boost profit margins and predictability of cash flow over time.
lean operations technical
"He is certified in Six Sigma and Lean Operations through GE."
Lean operations are a management approach that focuses on eliminating waste, simplifying processes, and using resources efficiently to deliver products or services with fewer delays and lower cost. Like trimming a cluttered kitchen to speed meal preparation, lean practices matter to investors because they can improve a company’s profit margins, cash flow and responsiveness to market changes without necessarily increasing sales.
