The Allstate Foundation Empowers Youth With College Service Grants
65 schools to receive
“The Allstate Foundation equips young changemakers by giving them the resources and tools to bring their ideas to life and make an impact in their schools, neighborhoods and beyond,” said Alex Quian, head of youth empowerment, The Allstate Foundation. “These schools are a part of our national movement to empower youth to serve and improve communities. Together, we’re putting funds directly into the hands of America’s future and empowering them, while also inspiring other youth to be a positive influence where they live.”
How the College Service Grants are disbursed
Grant recipients are selected based on an application process, which includes submitting a proposal for how the institution would utilize the funds to increase youth-led service on their campuses in alignment with one of the following strategies:
- Microgrants: Directly provided to students for new service programs.
- Access support: Increase student access to service experiences.
- Increasing impact: Enhance the impact of existing service activities.
