Sentiment and the balance of points

Rhea-AI Sentiment reads the wording of the document, how positive or negative its language is on a 1 to 5 scale. The balance of points shown with the takes weighs what the document actually discloses, so the two can disagree, for example when a trial that missed its main goal is described in upbeat language.

AmpliTech Group (AMPG) received more than $17 million in customer purchase orders during the third quarter ended September 30, 2026.

The total includes previously announced follow-on orders for existing 5G Open RAN programs, which use open radio access network technology, serving Asian and North American mobile network operators. More than 3,000 radio units have now been deployed in its North American operator program. AmpliTech is also pursuing prospective customers through large-scale requests for proposals for its radio solutions. Those opportunities remain subject to customer evaluations, competitive selection and definitive purchase orders.

How this balance works

Rhea-AI gives every point it takes from this document a weight. Minor counts 1, Moderate 3 and Major 9, so one Major point outweighs several Minor ones. The bar adds up the weights on each side, and when neither side holds more than 65% of the total the balance reads Mixed.

It reads the document as published, with the same rules for every company, and it does not look at what the market expected or at how the stock traded, so a point can be objectively good on a day the stock falls.

Rhea-AI Sentiment measures something else, the tone of the wording.

4 terms
mnos technical
"Asian and North American mobile network operators (“MNOs”)"
Mobile network operators (MNOs) are companies that own or control the wireless spectrum licenses and the physical network infrastructure (towers, radio equipment, core networks) used to provide mobile phone and data services directly to end customers. MNOs build and maintain the radio access and core networks, sell service plans, and may wholesale capacity to other providers; they are distinct from mobile virtual network operators (MVNOs), which resell service without owning the underlying spectrum or network.
o-ran technical
"existing 5G Open RAN programs"
O-RAN, short for Open Radio Access Network, is a way of building the wireless network pieces that connect phones and devices to the internet using open, standardized software and plug-and-play hardware instead of closed, single-vendor equipment. For investors it matters because open systems can lower costs, speed innovation, and increase supplier choice—while also creating new competitive and regulatory risks tied to interoperability, security, and supply chains.
lnas technical
"quantum computing low-noise amplifiers (LNAs)"
Locked nucleic acids (LNAs) are chemically modified RNA building blocks used to make short strands of genetic material bind more tightly to their targets and resist breakdown in the body. Investors track LNAs because they can improve the stability, potency, and dosing of genetic therapies and diagnostic tests — like adding Velcro to a tiny patch so it holds better — which can influence a biotech program's effectiveness, development timeline, and commercial potential.
rf technical
"advanced radio frequency (RF) microwave components"
rf (commonly written r_f) denotes the risk-free rate — the theoretical return on an investment with no chance of loss, often used as a baseline for valuing other assets. Investors use it like a yardstick: returns above this number compensate for extra risk, so it helps price stocks, bonds and option valuations and guides decisions about whether higher-return opportunities justify their added risk. Think of it as the safe deposit box interest rate against which riskier bets are measured.

Continued Repeat Orders Supporting Asian and North American MNO Deployments; More Than 3,000 Radio Units Now Deployed in North American Network

HAUPPAUGE, N.Y., Oct. 14, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- AmpliTech Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: AMPG, AMPGZ) (the “Company” or “AmpliTech”), a designer, developer, and manufacturer of advanced radio frequency (RF) microwave components, 5G communication systems, and quantum computing low-noise amplifiers (LNAs), today announced that it received more than $17 million in customer purchase orders during the third quarter ended September 30, 2026.

The quarterly total includes previously announced follow-on orders supporting existing 5G Open RAN programs for Asian and North American mobile network operators (“MNOs”). These repeat orders reflect continued purchasing activity under established customer programs and the ongoing commercial deployment of AmpliTech's O-RAN technology.

Notably, more than 3,000 AmpliTech radio units have now been deployed in support of its North American MNO program, representing an important milestone in the commercial adoption and deployment scale of the Company's technology.

In parallel, AmpliTech continues to pursue additional business opportunities with prospective customers, including active participation in large-scale requests for proposals (“RFPs”) for its O-RAN radio solutions. These opportunities remain subject to customer evaluations, competitive selection processes and the issuance of definitive purchase orders.

“We are pleased with our third-quarter order performance, which reflects continued purchasing activity from established customer programs and growing commercial experience with our O-RAN technology and product portfolios across our divisions” said Fawad Maqbool, Chairman and CEO of AmpliTech Group.

“Our focus is on building upon these successful deployments, strengthening relationships with existing customers and expanding our reach to additional mobile network operators and telecommunications infrastructure providers. The repeat orders, together with our active participation in new customer RFPs, support our strategy of scaling the O-RAN business as the industry continues its transition toward more open and flexible network architectures. We remain focused on converting these opportunities into firm orders, shipments and sustainable revenue growth,” concluded Mr. Maqbool.
