Amazon Web Services (AWS), a subsidiary of Amazon (NASDAQ: AMZN), has enhanced its GuardDuty threat detection service with three new capabilities aimed at bolstering customer security. The new functionalities include:

Amazon has launched the Anti-Counterfeiting Exchange (ACX), an industry collaboration aimed at enhancing online shopping safety by combating counterfeit goods. This initiative allows participating retailers to share information about confirmed counterfeiters, significantly improving the speed at which they can identify and neutralize threats.

ACX leverages anonymized data sharing, ensuring that once a counterfeiter is identified by one store, all participating stores can take immediate action. So far, hundreds of accounts linked to counterfeiters have been detected.
