American Water Charitable Foundation Celebrates Giving Tuesday

Provides $100,000 Corporate Strategic Grant to Feeding America and Seeds American Water Employee Giving Accounts with $100 Reward

CAMDEN, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- The American Water Charitable Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization established by American Water (NYSE: AWK), the largest regulated water and wastewater utility company in the U.S., announced today that it kicked off Giving Tuesday by awarding a $100,000 Corporate Strategic grant to Feeding America, helping to end food insecurity, as well as provided American Water employee Giving Accounts with a $100 reward to donate to eligible charities of choice.

Additionally, to inspire community giving and celebrate Giving Tuesday, the Foundation provided $100 to every employee, via their Giving Rewards Account, to donate to an eligible charity of choice meaningful to them.
