The LA Parks foundation, which will oversee the entire project, has also secured a $300,000 in-kind contribution from GameTime—the company stepping up to supply all the equipment for the project—along with an additional donation from Banc of California's Wildfire Relief & Recovery Fund, bringing support for the playground to more than $1.3 million. These funds, including the $1 million from the FireAid Benefit Concert, will allow for an expedited restoration and modernization of the playground in time for the July 4th holiday this year.

The Los Angeles Parks Foundation's mission is to enhance, expand, and promote public recreation at the more than 500 parks in the city of Los Angeles.
