Sentiment and the balance of points

Rhea-AI Sentiment reads the wording of the document, how positive or negative its language is on a 1 to 5 scale. The balance of points shown with the takes weighs what the document actually discloses, so the two can disagree, for example when a trial that missed its main goal is described in upbeat language.

New partnership delivers automated, machine-speed security enforcement for industrial operators – powered by integrating Radiflow’s CIARA with Belden NAC, formerly macmon NAC

ST. LOUIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Belden Inc. (NYSE: BDC), a leading global provider of complete connection solutions, today announced a strategic partnership with Radiflow, a leading global provider of OT cybersecurity solutions and services for critical infrastructure and industrial automation, particularly within discrete industries. Together, the companies will enable automated, intelligence-driven security enforcement across operational technology environments, closing the critical gap between threat detection and network response.

As OT environments become increasingly connected, security teams face a growing challenge. Understanding operational risk is no longer enough. Organizations must be able to act on that intelligence immediately. While OT security platforms excel at identifying vulnerabilities, exposures and anomalous behavior, the enforcement of security policies often remains a separate and largely manual process. Bridging the gap between OT visibility and automated network access control is essential to reduce response times and limit cyber risk in critical operations.

Together, Belden and Radiflow address this challenge directly by creating a unified security loop. Radiflow's platform delivers asset discovery, risk assessment and continuous anomaly detection across OT environments; Belden contributes trusted network infrastructure and access control, closing the loop from detection to enforcement. Today, the companies are launching an integrated solution that puts this loop into action: exposure detection and network enforcement working as one system, moving from "we found a new risk" to "access is restricted" without a manual handoff in between.

Radiflow's CIARA (Cyber Intelligence and Risk Assessment) maps an organization's OT network topology and layers on AI-driven threat intelligence to continuously flag critical exposures as they emerge, not weeks later. Together, iSID (Industrial Secure Intrusion Detection) and CIARA integrate with BeldenNAC, formerly macmon NAC. iSID delivers real-time OT event context while CIARA enriches Belden NAC with current risk scores per asset and zone. This enables Belden NAC to trigger automatic access-right adjustments the moment risk posture changes, delivering the continuous, contextual response OT security demands as AI accelerates the threat landscape.

"This partnership reflects exactly where Belden is heading: delivering security solutions that are comprehensive and immediately actionable in the field," said Alexandre Peixoto, VP Security at Belden.

"With Radiflow's CIARA & iSID platform providing continuous, data-driven risk intelligence and exposure detection, combined with Belden enforcing it at the network level, joint customers across manufacturing, energy and critical infrastructure get both the insight and the response — from day one."

"Belden's network infrastructure expertise is a natural complement to Radiflow's risk intelligence capabilities," said Ilan Barda, CEO, Radiflow. "Together, we give industrial operators what they've been missing: a direct, automated path from identifying a threat to enforcing the right response at machine speed, without putting operations at risk."

This collaboration extends Belden's commitment to delivering complete, end-to-end connectivity and security solutions for the most demanding industrial environments — from manufacturing and energy to transportation and critical infrastructure. With Radiflow's solutions already deployed at a significant number of sites worldwide, the partnership brings immediate scale and operational depth to joint customers across the Americas and EMEA.

Key Terms

operational technology technical
Operational technology is the physical equipment and specialized software that directly control machines, sensors and processes in factories, energy grids, transportation systems and buildings — think of it as a facility’s control panel and nervous system. Investors care because problems, upgrades or cyberattacks in this area can halt production, raise costs, require large capital spending, or trigger safety and regulatory issues that affect revenue and valuation.
network access control technical
A security system that controls which users and devices can connect to an organisation’s computer network and what resources they may use. It checks identity, device health (for example operating system version or antivirus status), and policy rules before granting full, limited, or no access; can place devices on segmented guest or quarantine networks and enforce access changes dynamically as conditions or posture assessments change. It operates alongside firewalls and endpoint controls rather than replacing them, and its effectiveness depends on correct policy configuration and reliable identity and device checks.
cyber-physical systems technical
Cyber-physical systems are networks that link software, sensors, and physical equipment so machines can sense their environment and make real-time decisions—think of a smart thermostat that watches temperature, runs algorithms, and adjusts heating automatically. Investors care because these systems can boost efficiency, create new product capabilities and revenue streams, and change cost structures, but they also introduce risks like hacking, maintenance needs and regulatory scrutiny that can affect profitability and valuation.
