Sentiment and the balance of points

Rhea-AI Sentiment reads the wording of the document, how positive or negative its language is on a 1 to 5 scale. The balance of points shown with the takes weighs what the document actually discloses, so the two can disagree, for example when a trial that missed its main goal is described in upbeat language.

The milestone was achieved ahead of the October 23, 2026 deadline, and Bluejay formally notified Toray that its obligation to substantially complete site establishment had been fulfilled. SanyoSeiko in Japan serves as the contractual manufacturing site. Bluejay is developing complementary manufacturing capabilities there and with ALURIS Sciences in the United States, intended to reduce reliance on a single manufacturing pathway. How this balance works

Rhea-AI gives every point it takes from this document a weight. Minor counts 1, Moderate 3 and Major 9, so one Major point outweighs several Minor ones. The bar adds up the weights on each side, and when neither side holds more than 65% of the total the balance reads Mixed.

It reads the document as published, with the same rules for every company, and it does not look at what the market expected or at how the stock traded, so a point can be objectively good on a day the stock falls.

Rhea-AI Sentiment measures something else, the tone of the wording.

il-6 medical
"The Symphony™ IL-6 Test, the Company's first product candidate."
Interleukin-6 (IL-6) is a small signaling protein the body releases as an alarm during infection, injury, or chronic inflammation; think of it as a smoke detector that calls immune cells to action. It matters to investors because IL-6 levels can serve as a biomarker for disease severity and a target for therapies—drugs that block or modulate IL-6 can change treatment outcomes, regulatory decisions, and commercial prospects in healthcare markets.
510(k) regulatory
"plans to use to support a 510(k) application to FDA."
A 510(k) is a U.S. regulatory submission that a medical device maker uses to show a new device is as safe and effective as an already-approved device, allowing the regulator to clear it for sale rather than requiring the longer, more stringent approval process. For investors, a cleared 510(k) usually means lower regulatory risk and a faster path to market, which can speed revenue generation and reduce uncertainty—similar to proving a new appliance works like a trusted existing model.

ACTON, MA / ACCESS Newswire / October 13, 2026 / Bluejay Diagnostics, Inc. (NASDAQ:BJDX) ("Bluejay" or the "Company"), a medical diagnostics company focused on improving patient outcomes through its Symphony™ near-patient diagnostic platform, today announced that it has completed the establishment of a manufacturing site for Symphony™ cartridges, achieving a critical contractual milestone as the Company advances toward regulatory submission and potential commercialization.

The milestone was achieved ahead of the October 23, 2026 contractual deadline established under Bluejay's amended license agreement with Toray Industries, Inc. ("Toray"). Bluejay has formally notified Toray that the Company has fulfilled its obligation to substantially complete establishment of a manufacturing site. Bluejay's manufacturing strategy is being developed around complementary manufacturing capabilities at SanyoSeiko Co., Ltd. in Japan and ALURIS Sciences, (previously Argonaut Manufacturing Services) in the United States. SanyoSeiko serves as the manufacturing site established under Bluejay's agreement with Toray and is an important component of the Company's Symphony cartridge manufacturing infrastructure.

Together, these initiatives are intended to provide Bluejay with a more diversified and resilient manufacturing infrastructure, reducing reliance on a single manufacturing pathway while increasing operational flexibility as the Company prepares for potential commercialization. The Company believes that achieving this manufacturing milestone represents an important step in reducing business and commercial execution risk as Bluejay advances toward regulatory submission and potential commercialization.

"Achieving this manufacturing milestone is an important accomplishment for Bluejay and another tangible step in our progression toward regulatory and commercial readiness," said Neil Dey, President and Chief Executive Officer of Bluejay Diagnostics. "Our manufacturing strategy is designed to extend beyond a single facility or geography. With the establishment of our manufacturing capability at SanyoSeiko and our strategic U.S. manufacturing relationship with ALURIS, we are working to build complementary manufacturing pathways that can provide greater flexibility, redundancy and supply-chain resilience."

Bluejay continues to advance its manufacturing scale-up activities alongside its regulatory program for the Symphony™ IL-6 Test, the Company's first product candidate.

The Symphony™ IL-6 Test has not been cleared or approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration ("FDA") and is not currently available for commercial clinical use in the United States. The Symphony™ rapid diagnostic platform is an investigational device and is limited by United States law to investigational use.

About the SYMON Clinical Study Program:

The SYMON Clinical Study Program includes SYMON-I (clinicaltrials.gov ID NCT06181604), SYMON-II (NCT06654895), and SYMON-III (NCT07425587). SYMON-I is a pilot study to determine IL-6 levels associated with various endpoints, including, but not limited to 28-day all-cause mortality and in-hospital mortality. The SYMON-II study is the pivotal study to validate the outcomes of the SYMON-I study, which the Company plans to use to support a 510(k) application to FDA. The SYMON-III study is a pilot study to determine IL-6 levels associated with patients presenting with increasing severity of infection in the emergency department and risk of developing sepsis.

About Bluejay Diagnostics:

Bluejay Diagnostics, Inc. is a medical diagnostics company focused on improving patient outcomes using its Symphony™ System, a cost-effective, rapid, near-patient testing system for sepsis triage and monitoring of disease progression. Bluejay does not yet have regulatory clearance for the Symphony™ System, and we will need to receive regulatory authorization from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration before Symphony™ can be marketed as a diagnostic product in the United States.
