Sentiment and the balance of points

Rhea-AI Sentiment reads the wording of the document, how positive or negative its language is on a 1 to 5 scale. The balance of points shown with the takes weighs what the document actually discloses, so the two can disagree, for example when a trial that missed its main goal is described in upbeat language.

Bluejay Diagnostics (NASDAQ:BJDX) will implement a board-approved 1-for-4 reverse stock split effective November 3, 2026, at 12:01 a.m. Eastern Time.

Split-adjusted trading will begin on The Nasdaq Capital Market that day. Outstanding common shares will decrease from approximately 4,468,051 to 1,117,013, while common shares issuable upon exercise of prefunded warrants will decrease from 222,581 to 55,645. Shares underlying outstanding equity awards and warrants will also be adjusted. Ownership percentages will remain unchanged except for adjustments arising from fractional shares, which will be paid in cash rather than issued.

Key Terms

cusip number, prefunded warrants, par value
3 terms
cusip number technical
"common stock will also commence trading with a new CUSIP number"
A CUSIP number is a nine-character code that uniquely identifies a specific U.S. or Canadian stock, bond, or other security, similar to a barcode or a social-security number for a financial instrument. It matters to investors because it removes confusion between similar securities, ensures trades and settlements are applied to the correct issue, and helps locate official documents and transaction records quickly.
prefunded warrants financial
"shares of the Company's common stock issuable upon the exercise of prefunded warrants"
Prefunded warrants are a security that gives the holder the right to convert the warrant into a share after paying a very small remaining amount because almost the full purchase price was paid upfront. They matter to investors because exercising them increases the company’s outstanding shares (dilution) and can provide immediate cash to the issuer while allowing holders to bypass ownership limits or simplify timing, similar to buying a nearly-complete gift card that only needs a tiny top-up to use.
par value financial
"with no change to the par value of $0.0001 per share"
Par value is the fixed amount printed on a bond or stock that represents its original value when issued. It’s like the face value of a coin or bill—what the issuer promises to pay back or the starting price of a stock—though it often doesn’t change with market prices. It matters because it helps determine certain financial details, like how much the company will pay back at maturity.

ACTON, MA / ACCESS Newswire / October 30, 2026 / Bluejay Diagnostics, Inc. (NASDAQ:BJDX) ("Bluejay" or the "Company"), a medical diagnostics company focused on improving patient outcomes through its Symphony™ near-patient diagnostic platform, today announced that the Company's Board of Directors has approved a reverse stock split of its shares of common stock at a ratio of 1-for-4 (the "Reverse Stock Split"). The Reverse Stock Split will become effective at 12:01 a.m. Eastern Time on November 3, 2026, and the Company's common stock will open for trading on The Nasdaq Capital Market on a post-split basis on November 3, 2026 under the Company's existing trading symbol, "BJDX." At such time, the Company's common stock will also commence trading with a new CUSIP number, 095633707.

At the effective time of the reverse stock split, every four (4) issued and outstanding shares of Bluejay common stock will be combined into one (1) share of common stock, with no change to the par value of $0.0001 per share. This will reduce the Company's outstanding common stock from approximately 4,468,051 shares to approximately 1,117,013 shares (and reduce the number of shares of the Company's common stock issuable upon the exercise of prefunded warrants from 222,581 to 55,645). No fractional shares of common stock will be issued as a result of the reverse stock split and instead holders of Bluejay common stock will receive a cash payment in lieu of fractional shares to which they would otherwise be entitled. The shares underlying the Company's outstanding equity awards and warrants will also be adjusted accordingly. The reverse stock split affects all stockholders uniformly and will not alter any stockholder's percentage interest in the Company's common stock, except for adjustments that may result from the treatment of fractional shares.

The Company has retained its transfer agent, Continental Stock Transfer & Trust Company ("Continental"), to act as its exchange agent for the reverse stock split. Stockholders with shares held in certificate form will receive from Continental instructions regarding the exchange of their certificates. Stockholders that hold shares in book-entry form or hold their shares in brokerage accounts are not required to take any action and will see the impact of the reverse stock split reflected in their accounts, subject to brokers' particular processes. Beneficial holders of Bluejay common stock are encouraged to contact their bank, broker, custodian or other nominee with questions regarding procedures for processing the reverse stock split.
