fedramp regulatory
FedRAMP (Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program) is a U.S. government initiative that sets security standards for cloud computing services used by federal agencies. It ensures that these online platforms protect sensitive information, similar to how a security system safeguards a building. For investors, FedRAMP indicates that a cloud service meets strict security requirements, which can influence its reliability and trustworthiness in handling data.
federal risk and authorization management program regulatory
A federal risk and authorization management program is a U.S. government system that evaluates and approves how cloud and IT services protect sensitive data, giving vendors official clearance to work with federal agencies. For investors, this clearance is like a trusted safety inspection or license: it reduces the risk of costly security problems, opens access to large government contracts, and signals that a company meets standardized cybersecurity rules.
digital twins technical
Digital twins are virtual replicas of physical objects, systems, or processes that simulate their real-world counterparts in real time. They allow users to monitor, analyze, and predict how the actual entity will behave under different conditions. For investors, digital twins can provide valuable insights into performance and potential risks, helping to make better-informed decisions.
geotechnical technical
"Geotechnical" relates to the study of Earth's materials and how they behave, especially soil and rock, to assess how stable and suitable land is for construction or development. For investors, understanding geotechnical conditions helps evaluate the safety, feasibility, and potential costs of building projects or infrastructure, influencing the value and risk associated with real estate and development ventures.
connected construction technical
Connected construction is the use of internet-linked devices, sensors and software to monitor, coordinate and control equipment, materials and workers on building sites. It matters to investors because it can boost productivity, reduce delays and safety incidents, and lower long-term maintenance costs—similar to how a smart home automates routine tasks and provides real-time alerts, but at the scale of an entire construction project.

FedRAMP authorization for ProjectWise and OpenGround provides federal agencies with secure, modern digital tools to deliver on the generational mission of rebuilding U.S. infrastructure

EXTON, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- As the national conversation focuses on the urgent need to fix aging U.S. infrastructure, Bentley Systems, Incorporated (Nasdaq: BSY), the infrastructure engineering software company, today announced that ProjectWise, its connected data environment for infrastructure project delivery, and OpenGround, its geotechnical information management and reporting software, have achieved FedRAMP® Authorization at the Moderate Impact Level.

FedRAMP, which stands for Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program, is a U.S. government initiative that accelerates the adoption and use of secure cloud-based services by the federal government. Bentley achieving FedRAMP authorization enables federal agencies and their ecosystem partners to adopt its secure, compliant cloud-based products to strengthen data-centric workflows for infrastructure programs, from transportation and water systems to defense and environmental programs.

By providing secure, interoperable, and scalable digital workflows, federal owners can further modernize their infrastructure digital delivery strategies, improve cross-agency collaboration, and adopt emerging practices such as AI, digital twins, connected construction, and real-time geotechnical intelligence within a fully compliant, FedRAMP authorized environment.

“The FedRAMP authorization signals Bentley’s longstanding commitment to trust, compliance, and safeguarding critical infrastructure information while improving how agencies securely share and manage project data in the cloud,” said Julien Moutte, chief technology officer, Bentley Systems. “ProjectWise and OpenGround provide a trusted digital foundation for federal infrastructure programs, connecting surface and subsurface intelligence in secure cloud environments to accelerate project delivery and improve infrastructure resilience, all while meeting the highest U.S. government security standards.”

Following this authorization, sponsored by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Bentley’s ProjectWise Design Integration and OpenGround are available to support a wide range of federal infrastructure initiatives, with additional ProjectWise services to follow.

ProjectWise and OpenGround are listed in the FedRAMP Marketplace under Bentley for Government. More information can be found on Bentley.com and Seequent.com.
