non-gaap financial measure financial
A non-GAAP financial measure is a way companies present their financial results that excludes certain expenses or income to show how they believe their core business is performing. It matters because it can give a clearer picture of how the company is really doing, but it can also be used to make results look better than they actually are.
gaap financial
GAAP, or Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, are a set of standardized rules and guidelines that companies follow when preparing their financial statements. They ensure consistency, transparency, and comparability across different companies, making it easier for investors to understand and compare financial information accurately. This helps investors make informed decisions based on trustworthy and uniform financial reports.

Adjusted EBITDA is a way companies measure how much money they make from their core operations, like running a business, by removing certain costs or income that aren’t part of regular business activities. It helps investors see how well a company is doing without distractions from unusual expenses or gains, making it easier to compare companies or track performance over time.

FAQ to be published during the week of August 24 will address second quarter performance, the Company’s outlook, and capital structure

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Capstone Holding Corp. (NASDAQ: CAPS), a national, technology-enabled building products distribution platform, will publish an investor FAQ during the week of August 24 addressing key questions from its shareholder base. The FAQ will expand on the Company’s strategic outlook and second quarter performance, which included 67% year-over-year revenue growth, 92% gross profit growth, and 357 basis points of gross margin expansion to 27.9%.

Ahead of publication, Capstone is inviting shareholders to submit questions by emailing investors@capstoneholdingcorp.com. The Company’s leadership team will review submissions and address a selection of questions in the published FAQ.

“In the second quarter, we delivered the EBITDA inflection we guided to in the first quarter, with positive Stone Business Adjusted EBITDA,” said Matthew Lipman, Chief Executive Officer of Capstone. “Through this FAQ, we look forward to engaging directly with shareholders and discussing how we plan to build on this momentum through continued revenue growth, margin expansion and our capital structure priorities.”

In advance of the investor FAQ, shareholders are encouraged to review the Company’s earnings presentation, available on Capstone’s website.

Non-GAAP Financial Measures

Stone Business Adjusted EBITDA is a non-GAAP financial measure. It is not a measure of financial performance under GAAP and should not be considered an alternative to net income (loss) or any other performance measure derived in accordance with GAAP, and it may not be comparable to similarly titled measures used by other companies. A reconciliation to net loss, the most directly comparable GAAP measure, together with the definition of the measure, is included in the Company’s earnings release dated August 12, 2026.
