The Xfinity ad, which was created in partnership with advertising agency Preacher, premieres tomorrow during the NFL Kickoff Game – the Cowboys vs. the Eagles – one of football’s most storied rivalries. The Vaughn/Wilson duo will continue to star in a series of spots rolling out this fall and into 2026.
The ads were directed by Ridley Scott Associates’ David Dobkin, and mark a first-time reunion for the director working with both actors since the blockbuster comedy hit Wedding Crashers. Dobkin said, “Vince and Owen’s chemistry remain magic. And they constantly push each other which I think is always necessary if you want to make something really good and really fresh, I think the Xfinity sports experience and this campaign is exactly that.”
