"content for its fast channel, AVOD/SVOD library, and podcast platform."
AVOD and SVOD are two business models for streaming video services. AVOD (advertising-based video on demand) lets viewers watch content for free or lower cost while the service inserts commercials and sells ad space; revenue comes mainly from advertisers. SVOD (subscription video on demand) gives access to content in exchange for a recurring fee paid by the viewer; revenue comes mainly from subscriber payments and typically presents fewer or no ads. The key distinction is how the service earns money—advertising versus subscription fees—which affects user experience, content licensing choices, and measurement of audience engagement.

Now on Vizio WatchFree+, Ed Bassmaster makes the jump from YouTube to streaming with a series that features the cast of characters that his online subscribers have come to know. This includes Witz Comedy Network's The Ed Bassmaster Show, featuring new weekly episodes with pranks, characters, and wild stories from interviews with some of Ed's favorite collaborators.

The Channel includes gags and sketches from some of Ed's classic characters: Always Teste, Mumbles, Chip Diamond, Skippy, Emilio and more! Fans and viewers will enjoy a format that can only be described as Saturday Night Live meets Jackass, meets Candid Camera. The Ed Bassmaster Show also features interviews with Steve-O, Trailer Trash Tammy, Jen Smith, Andy Molinakis, Paige Ginn, with more to come.

Said Bassmaster: "I'm excited to be teaming up with Cineverse, Witz, and Vizio WatchFree+ to showcase some of my newest content with my fans and the platform's already massive audience. Expect to see more 'PSH!,' 'JUST LOOK AT IT,' 'NOT ON YOUR WORST DAY, PAL,' and of course 'BARTLEDOO.' Most of all I want to keep bringing my brand of humor to a great platform."

Witz Comedy Network will also be providing the channel with exclusive content from their library and Ed's collaborators. "Part of Ed's vision for this project is to showcase the next generation of creators he loves and continue to add a variety of new content from Ed, including new characters, going on the road with Ed and a look into his live standup shows," said Witz Comedy Network's founding partner Cris Italia.
