DOVER, Del., Sept. 19, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- For the sixth consecutive year, two Chesapeake Utilities Corporation (NYSE: CPK) businesses have been recognized as Stars of Delaware, voted on by Daily State News' readers. Chesapeake Utilities, which provides natural gas distribution across much of the Delmarva Peninsula, was named Best Natural Gas/Energy Provider, while Sharp Energy, the corporation's propane distribution subsidiary, was awarded Best Propane Company.

This year's competition drew more than 44,000 votes and nominations from Daily State News readers across nearly 200 award categories, spotlighting the businesses and organizations that Delaware residents trust and value most.
