DAVIDSON, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

Curtiss-Wright Corporation (NYSE: CW) today announced a $30 million capital investment to expand operations at its Round Rock, Texas facility, to strengthen its manufacturing capabilities in support of critical nuclear energy and industrial applications. The expansion will benefit the Company’s Naval & Power segment by increasing manufacturing capacity for Curtiss-Wright’s pressure and temperature sensor product lines while creating space to accommodate future developments in the Company’s extensive instrumentation and control portfolio, including cutting-edge radiation monitoring systems (RMS).

“This expansion and investment in our Round Rock operations positions Curtiss-Wright to meet growing customer demand for our critical temperature and pressure sensors supporting the safe and reliable operation of existing and new-build commercial nuclear reactors,” said Lynn M. Bamford, Chair and CEO of Curtiss-Wright Corporation. “As investments in reliable energy infrastructure and advanced nuclear technologies continue to create opportunities across the supply chain, Curtiss-Wright is prepared to support our customers with the manufacturing capacity, technical capabilities, and product portfolio to effectively meet anticipated market growth.”

Beyond increasing the facility’s manufacturing space, the site expansion is designed to improve production flow and create opportunities to increase output and operational efficiency. It will also provide additional space for an engineering-driven Advanced Innovation Center (AIC), a metrology testing laboratory, and a project management office, strengthening collaboration across the organization and enhancing responsiveness to customer needs. As part of the expansion, the Company expects to increase its headcount at the Round Rock facility, providing opportunities for the local community.

“This capital investment underscores Curtiss-Wright’s commitment to continuous improvement, product quality, and long-term investment in the people and capabilities that support our customers,” said Anthony Nigara, Senior Vice President and Division Lead, Curtiss-Wright Nuclear.

Curtiss-Wright maintains one of the most comprehensive and diverse portfolios of advanced nuclear power equipment, technology, and services globally to support both operating reactors and new build opportunities.
