Decade Resources (TSXV: DEC / Symbol: DECXF) reported results from a 2025 reconnaissance program at the North Mitchell property, Golden Triangle, BC, including high-grade grab samples up to 116.9 g/t Au, 161 g/t Ag, 3.01% Pb and 5.6% Zn.

Sixty-three bedrock and float samples returned gold values ranging <0.005–116.9 g/t Au. Multiple samples exceeded 1 g/t Au. Geology suggests an epithermal Au-Ag system with a possible porphyry source adjacent to major regional deposits. The company plans expanded 2026 work: saw-cuts, short drill holes and diamond drilling pending permits.

Recent Company History

Over the last few months, Decade Resources reported multiple exploration successes and corporate financings. High-grade grab samples at Bonaparte on Oct 30, 2025 and the current North Mitchell results both coincided with positive price reactions. In contrast, the $1,170,000 private placement closing on Nov 24, 2025 and the Bonaparte acquisition on Oct 21, 2025 saw notable declines. This announcement continues a sequence of high-grade sampling updates following new property acquisition and related financings.

Analysis

The stock surged +33.3% in the session following this news. A strong positive reaction aligns with the pattern seen after prior high-grade sampling news, such as the Bonaparte results that preceded a 11.43% move. Historical data shows that exploration success often attracted buying, while financings and acquisitions sometimes pressured the stock. Investors evaluating a surge around this update may weigh the grab-sample nature of results and the early-stage status of North Mitchell against the company’s plan for expanded 2026 drilling.

Key Terms

epithermal, porphyry, sericite alteration, reconnaissance program
4 terms
epithermal technical
"suggests the potential for an epithermal Au-Ag system with a porphyry source"
Epithermal describes a type of mineral deposit formed when hot fluids near the Earth’s surface deposit metals such as gold and silver into cracks and porous rock, often creating concentrated ‘veins’ or pockets. For investors, epithermal deposits matter because they can host high-grade, easily accessible ore that may lower extraction costs and shorten the time from discovery to production, affecting project value and exploration risk.
porphyry technical
"potential for an epithermal Au-Ag system with a porphyry source"
A porphyry is a type of large, underground mineral deposit that contains valuable metals such as copper, gold, or molybdenum, often spread over a wide area. Think of it as a giant underground treasure chest, where the metals are embedded in rock formations. These deposits are important to investors because they can be the source of significant resource extraction projects with the potential for substantial economic returns.
sericite alteration technical
"intense sericite alteration. To view an enhanced version of this graphic"
Sericite alteration is the process where hot, mineral-rich fluids change original rock into a fine, white mica called sericite; it shows that fluids moved through the rock and chemically altered it. For investors, sericite is a useful exploration clue because it often forms around the same hot fluid systems that concentrate metals like gold, copper or molybdenum, so its presence can point geologists toward potential ore zones much like damp ground hints at an underground leak.
reconnaissance program technical
"results from the recent reconnaissance program on the North Mitchell Property"
A reconnaissance program is an organized effort to design, build or operate systems that gather information about targets or environments—such as satellites, drones, sensors or data-analysis networks—so decision makers can see what is happening beyond direct observation. For investors it matters because these programs typically involve large, long-term contracts, significant research and development spending, regulatory and national-security approvals, and potential for steady revenue or costly delays, much like a major infrastructure project that pays off only after years of work.

Stewart, British Columbia--(Newsfile Corp. - December 4, 2025) - Decade Resources Ltd. (TSXV: DEC) ("Decade" or the "Company") reports that it has received the results from the recent reconnaissance program on the North Mitchell Property, located in the Golden Triangle region of northwestern British Columbia. The Property is contiguous to Seabridge Gold's KSM and Snowfield deposits and Newmont's Brucejack Mine, placing it at the epicenter of one of the world's largest concentrations of gold and copper resources.

Highlights of assays for random grab sampling on in-situ quartz stockwork zones and intensely sericite altered volcanic rocks include:

  • 116.9 g/t Au, 161 g/t Ag, 3.01 % Pb and 5.6 % Zn.
  • 5.73 g/t Au and 12.74 g/t Ag.
  • 3.7559 g/t Au and 11.19 g/t Ag.

Note: The samples above were random in nature but do not necessarily represent the metal content in the located source. The Company feels that the high metal content is highly encouraging and further investigation is warranted.

Geological Context
The North Mitchell Property is underlain by Hazelton Group volcanic and intrusive rocks and cut by north-south trending structures interpreted to be splays of the Brucejack Fault. The presence of sphalerite- and galena-bearing quartz veins, iron-oxide alteration, and nearby porphyritic intrusives suggests the potential for an epithermal Au-Ag system with a porphyry source — similar to systems that host nearby Iron Cap and Brucejack deposits.

The following maps show the location and geology of the property relative to adjoining properties.

Expanded Exploration Program
Based on the positive results obtained in the 2025 reconnaissance program, the 2026 field program will be expanded to carry out the following:

  1. Saw-cuts across quartz-sulphide bearing zones to determine mineralization width.
  2. Short Shaw drill holes to check the gold-silver tenor of any mineralized zones.

Diamond drilling upon receipt of permits and conditions allow.

President's Comment
"The 2025 reconnaissance program was highly successful in identifying a prospective target area at the North Mitchell property. The presence of all the surrounding mineral deposits in conjunction with the Company results on the property indicates a huge potential," said Ed Kruchkowski, President of Decade Resources. "We are eager continue exploration in 2026."

Cautionary Statement
Sampling results reported herein are selective in nature and may not represent the true grade or extent of mineralization on the Property. Comparisons to adjacent deposits are provided for geological context only and may not indicate that similar mineralization occurs on the North Mitchell Property. Mineral resources which are not mineral reserves do not have demonstrated economic viability. Inferred resources are considered too speculative geologically to have economic considerations applied to them that would enable them to be categorized as mineral reserves.

All samples were prepared at MSA Labs' preparation laboratory in Terrace, B.C., and assayed at MSA Labs' geochemical laboratory in Langley, B.C. Gold was assayed using a fire assay with atomic absorption (AA) spectrometry finish. Samples over 25 parts per million gold were fire assayed with gravimetric finish. All samples were analyzed by four-acid digestion with multielement ICP-MS, with silver and base metal overlimits being reanalyzed by emission spectrometry. MSA Labs' quality system complies with the requirements for the international standards ISO 17025 and ISO 9001. MSA Labs is independent of the company.
