term loan b financial
A Term Loan B (TLB) is a large, syndicated loan made to a company that is typically sold to institutional investors rather than held by banks; think of it as a long-term mortgage from a group of investors with higher interest and smaller early payments. It matters to investors because it changes a company’s debt cost, repayment schedule and credit risk—factors that affect profit, cash flow and the market value of both the company’s equity and its traded debt.
convertible notes financial
Convertible notes are a type of short-term loan that a company receives from investors, which can later be turned into company shares instead of being paid back in cash. They matter to investors because they offer a way to support a company early on while giving the potential to own a stake in its success if the company grows and later raises more funding.
syndication financial
Syndication is a way for several financial firms to share a large loan, bond sale, or securities offering so no single institution bears all the risk or work. For investors, syndication matters because it affects how easily a deal gets funded, how quickly it can be sold or traded, and the fees and pricing you ultimately see—think of several people pooling money to buy a big item that would be risky or impossible for one person alone.
revolving credit facility financial
A revolving credit facility is a type of loan that a business can borrow from whenever it needs money, up to a set limit. It’s like having a credit card for companies—allowing them to borrow, pay back, and borrow again as needed, providing flexibility for managing cash flow or funding short-term expenses.

BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- DraftKings Inc. (Nasdaq: DKNG) (the “Company” or “DraftKings”) today announced the launch of syndication for a proposed senior secured term loan B credit facility (the “Term Loan B”) in an aggregate principal amount of $600 million. In connection with the Term Loan B, DraftKings has launched syndication of, and secured commitments for, a new $750 million senior secured revolving credit facility maturing in 2031 (the "New Revolving Facility") to enhance liquidity and provide additional financial flexibility, which will replace its existing $500 million senior secured revolving credit facility maturing in 2029. DraftKings intends to utilize borrowings under the New Revolving Facility for general corporate purposes; however, the Company expects the New Revolving Facility to remain substantially undrawn at closing.
